Welcome Back!
Join me on another FM Ham Radio Satellite Rove. This time I am at beautiful Lake of The Ozarks. The pass starts with SO-50 which was EXTREMELY packed. The first half I could barely even get a signal onto the satellite because stations running big power had it locked up. The second half was much more productive. This shows how difficult it actually is to get into the sats sometimes. SO-50 came up from the South, and by the time I was in range it was already jam packed with operators and nearly impossible to establish myself in the fray.
The second portion is from the only Tevel-5 pass during my timeframe. It came in from the North so I had much better luck establishing myself on the pass with the other operators. But as you will see the further south it got the harder it was to get into the fray.
