This song really hit's home with me. My brother chose to take his own life on December-6-2012. He was a year younger than I am but he was more like a big brother, this is one of the best song's I have heard in a very long time.

i lost my mom when i was 11, i recently lost my grandma, this is the first time i've heard this song...its absolutely beautiful, speaks a kind message that means a lot. my favourite line is " why can't life just be polite and wave?" its so true and i dont know the answer. no one does. All i know is what doesn't kill you, will make you stronger. God brings men into deep water, not to drown them, but to cleanse them.

i love that the point of view of this song is a boy that love a girl so much, so he cares for her and try his best to cheer her up and protect her from self-blaming. he may hurt, he may not happy, he may feel so sad too, but he's still trying to protect her feeling. a kind of true love ❤️

@Abdullah4568 the story begins with the video of the song "boy moves to a new town with an optimistic outlook" in which this boy meets the girl and apparently fall in love.. And in this video, the girl's father dies, and she has to move to another town... That's why the boy is so sad; and as you can see he has a diary in his hand almost all the time, because the album's name is "Dear Diary". The story continues with the video of the song "Take me as I am"... So you should probably see it.
