This sounds good, but not being able to see where the patch cables are coming from, makes it tough for me to learn the instrument, from the way this video is framed. Of course the close up is ideal, but I cannot see where the patch cables are connected to controlling device.

3:24 couldn't you simply use the voltage maths section on 0-coast instead?

at 3:07 could the contour section be used as the envelop to shape the FM sounds? Is there a way to create those complex dynamics with only the 0 coast?

Contour is normalled to dynamics (amp+brightness), so the envelope would have to either be the same for both or you'd need to be happy to jam open the dynamics by taking a static voltage from the voltage math output.

Could you explain what is going on in terms of patching from 1.20? Have you got an external signal coming in? If so where is being patched into? Trying to do the same with my poly 800 and the 0-coast and not getting anywhere! Thanks.

I would love love love to do enveloped FM with this but don't have anything like ^^^ the modular stuff to achieve it... is there a simple module I could get with the 0 coast to help?
