I have maxed out training facilities, junior couching and youth recruitment. My youth intakes are usually very good and once a few years I get a player that has the potential to be a world beater. Maxing out the club is definetely worth it. I manage in Brazil and after 5 seasons maxed out, my team produced 2 players that were good 1st division players at 17yo (one of them broke his leg when he was 16, he would be even more insane) and quite a few players that were rated good 1st division players at 18+yo. Improving the facilities, junior coaching and youth recruitment is very important, but the reputation of the club seems to make a lot of difference too because I don't remember having so many consistently very good youth intakes throughout the years with clubs with lower reputation (my current team is 2nd in South America).

Can you do a video on how to add Everton 10 point deduction to a save that is already created but still on Nov 23? I don’t know who else to ask - I’ve searched videos and watched a few on editors but none seem to deal with this specific issue?!? Most deal with adding - removing before starting a game. I have watched your video on in game editor but can’t find a screen that deals with adding something like this.

As far as i'm aware you can't add point deductions to a save game in progress. Not even the in-game editor has the capacity to do this, neither do the 2 'unofficial' in game editors that I've used.

Do Burton still have State of the art facilities since they had it in FM23 because they were training ST George’s Park?

I had a point in the game where I needed to upgrade my training facilities to max level, before I could upgrade my youth facilities. I couln't even ask the board for an upgrade before the training facilities where maxed out.

@@TheManagersSeat At leat it seems to be a German thing. I had that issue with all the German clubs I've trained over the last years (Armina Bielefeld, Werder Bremen, Magdeburg, Paderborn and a club I've created).

The Youth Recruitment is also relative to the Youth Recruitment that every other team in the league has. Think of it like a draft. If every team has basic youth recruitment, the same players are in the pool or draft so someone will get them on intake day. Improving the youth recruitment thus improves your chances - or draft position - to land the better players, but it doesn't cause the better players to be created.
