Great update for sure. Gapless opens up lots of options building presets. Should have an FM9 Turbo MKII sitting on the floor soon. Since we are never satisfied I'm hoping FAS adds the MEZZABARBA amp soon. FAS rules and of course Leon is the best!

Alright Leon. Here's an idea for a tone tips Tuesday. Could you do a "Kings X" tones deep dive? I bet the FM9 could do a bang up job peeling away the layers of tones and effects of Ty AND Doug. And think of all the fun you'd have going thru Kings X albums to catch tone variances!!! Please?

So on the FM nine, I can’t run a pitch block to detune the guitar and a pitch block to use as an octaver. Did I read that wrong? That can’t be possible on this powerful of a modeler right?

One intance of the pitch block per preset on the FM9. You can use the ring mod with pitch tracking on and ratio set to 0.5 as an octaver

@@G66eu That’s a weird allocation of DSP for a unit that’s supposed to be so powerful. I never get why effects are limited in fractal stuff. My chain is simple and in reality would probably use 45% DSP but can’t use 2 pitch block.

Global blocks are only available on the Axe-Fx III

@@G66eu I thought so and that is unfortunate. I had a FM9 Turbo. IMHO the Axe-FX IV or new FM harware, IF they update that dated UI (the reason why I sold it), will be something special. The tones and effects are great. Just could not get past the unintuitive UI. Hate opening a laptop to make simple changes.
