Wild Horses was recorded in Muscle Shoals, Alabama by Jimmy Johnson and his "Swampers". Listen to the verse in Lynyrd Skynyrds "Sweet Home Alabama" that says "now Muscle Shoals has got the Swampers, and they've been known to pick a song or two". Ronnie Van Zant was talking about were they started recording and the people that taught them, which are the same people that recorded "Wild Horses", and that's the Swampers in Muscle Shoals, Alabama.

Debbie Daniels today’s music is in the crapper. These were the good days when songs had meaning and meant something. No computers changing they voices. Hopefully things music will make a come back. I mean hell bell bottoms did right? Fingers crossed. Bring back the god ol’ days. We’re going to see the Stones in Nashville in a few months.

So glad i grew up in the late 60's and 70's and experienced such a fine mosaic of great music. Ballads sure don't get much better than this classic.

Hay una versión de "old and in the way" absolutamente maravillosa.
