I am a newbie been flying the carbon cub s+ just got the ranger beautiful plane and got the DX6E got everything setup except the high and low rate the book tells me like 16mm but the radio does it in % Please help

Bought this plane 3 weeks ago. it really does fly well but good luck getting a front nose gear for it if you land hard. Its not as sturdy as it looks. Its gonna be 2 thats 2 months before I can get it replaced.

Nice flying, I would put the plane on my list, but the mains gear without much of a fairing gives me OCD. I will probably design 3d printable replacements though.

I also wanted to add that on this plane which is what I bought, the rudder came completely off. The landing was not hard and I didnt flip it upside down it just came off. I would say the foam was too thin at this joint. I was not impressed. Now I know the fix is easy and I took care of it but still. I am new to this hobby. I admit that but I would think considering the price it would be more robust than this. That said Im not sure any epo foam plane from any manufacturer would be any different since it seems its all made in China in the first place.

The battery that you used in this plane weighs 563 grams. Do you think a battery that weighs 574 grams would CG correctly? Or even a 550 gram battery?

That battery looks to be 3s, not 4s as is said in the video. You can tell there are only 3 cells from the side view of the pack at the beginning. And the balance cable seem to have 4 wires (standard for 3s packs).

Nope 3s. The first battery in my hand was a 6s actually by mistake. There’s a cut edit and then I’m holding the 4s battery and out it in the plane. I don’t own 3s Roaring Top so I’m sure
