Awesome information. I too found a issue with the gear. I replaced my Retractable gear main shafts with I believe is a 30mm Dia. Shaft. ( Dremel Drill cut off wheel ) Screw driver Shaft. Less apt to bend. Cutting the c clip groove in wS tricky but with the right thin Cutting wheel / cake . I fly my the same way you do. Good points about the servo needing more glue. I've repaired and repainted mine from hitting a tree while flying it Bush style. Short run way. Definitely A test of my abilities to slow it down fast enough. Drop Overstreet tops and get it stopped before I run out of runway. I added a 100 amp Avian ESC. Reverse thrust helps.

The stock esc it comes has reverse in it

Ive purposely over charged lipo packs in my past and never had one explode or catch fire. Im seriously thinking about taking a couple packs and running them overcharged to see how long they last. Life span longevity

You won't get too much more out of them and they will probably puff if you do it more than 3 or 4 times. Speaking from personal experience. It gets expensive to keep having batteries puff on you.

The afterburner looks really cool! How do you make it look so bright?

Thanks. I put DuBro low bounce 2" tires on all 3 gear. You'll love the handling difference.

This RC plane tends to drop a wing during landings. While it is easy to take off and fly, even experienced pilots with 30 years of experience sometimes struggle to land it without incident.

As a second jet which is better the viper or tle l39?
@timomalley42822 ай бұрын
They both fly and land about the same, but I would go with the l39 because it’s is more forgiving at lower speeds and is not as likely to drop a wing unlike the viper you have to watch your speed continuously, their both really fun jets

@@timomalley4282thanks bro, also for the information you won't get from the average reviews❤

That jet is easy to land, I use 6s 3700mah and lipo all the way back. I see you like to fly yours nose heavy and your using a 4000mah
@timomalley42824 ай бұрын
Yep. I just got 5000’s for it too. I’m gonna put up another video with a 64mm L39 that flys on 5000 6S with 6 minute + flight time. It’s pretty cool
