I have been traveling for weeks it feels like but here in an inside look at what it's like in the 2023 National Retail Hobby Store Association (NRHSA) Dealer show. It's always a great time to get to speak with dealers and other manufacturers in the business.

And there you have it the new FMS 1:10 scale have arrived. They are unreal I was able to see them in person at the FMS Festival & I can’t wait to get one I believe it has dig also but I put my 1:24 Blazer right nest to it so I’ve got to get the Orange/ white one. I believe the owner said November was release date. Out of everyone I think FMS is definitely on a path to compete with the more well known brands. Also Redcat continues to impress & grow so & my favorite company as far as crawlers Element is also got my attention with the new Tacoma.

GensAce.... my first Lipo was a Gens Ace. Did over 1200 charge cycles with it. Had it for about 6 years.... what a battery. I battle to find them in South Africa now. Pity. They are fantastic.

Why would anyone try to get close to anything Traxxas makes is mind blowing. They've already proven they will come after you legally and FAST. That trx4 copy is a waist of time , energy and money. U had me rollin on the skid steer." "Need it ". I felt that lmao . Prob the best release of the show tbh.

There are 9 of us that have the banggood version of the Tutut Spray tricycle with drift tires and a yeah racing drift gyros. It's so goofy and fun racing each other on the drift track. I definitely recommend the banggood version.

23:40 shows an 8.4v Bec nano from castle that sounds useful, and I like that the new micro esc is programmable from the transmitter. My Mac has kept me away from castle in the past.

The company I work for was an exhibitor there, I think you were standing next to my boss for a minute at the Tamiya booth I could hear him talking. But we’re just involved on the plastic modeling side so you probably don’t know us.

I pictured the show a lot larger. Looks like all the major ground RC players were there. Surprised not to see the larger flight manufactures there also.

Flight stuff has a lot of their own dedicated shows, but the main reasoning for this show is to talk to dealers. The main portion of the show doesn't happen in this room, there are seminars, lunches, demos, etc that all happen in other areas. But this is the only fun part to show people.

This show used to be called the “Table Top Expo” it’s intentionally been kept small so companies don’t have to pay for massive booths like other trade shows. Like Josh said this isn’t all of the show, there’s two solid days of seminars and demos before this part of the show opens.

That’s the horizon booth. So they have axial on display since they’re all the same company.

The product that is there isn't for sale, just for display, but you are correct that they didn't show any of the brands that they distribute that are not owned by them.

Everyone was going to see the obvious parallels, so there is no point in not saying it! :) I have worked with FMS but none of the products are built to target a customer like me, so we just weren't the right fit. I have politely declined most of their recent releases. Maybe they'll have something else in the future.

Traxxas has been a copycat since day one. Their first RCs were all copycats. There are only so many ways to make an axle.

That is for sure a traxxas more then anything hahahaha. Loads of cool stuff there. Maybe one day ill go to one of these. If I ever meet the requirements hahahaha. It's kinda cool to see hpi back. Always loved hpi. They were my first rc over 20 years ago Well... hobby grade rc. Great video. I'm currently starting my first 2j motor print. I need to buy petg for the proper one I'll use in the trucks.

I believe it has dig & the magnet light connections come with it to get a TRX to this level would cost you extra 👍😂 I had a chance to see it at the FMS Festival a week ago. It looks like a TRX killer. I have 2 TRX4 ‘s & I’m sure just like them there’s going to be good things & bad things time will tell that is the one thing you can say about the TRX it’s already proven. But newer companies are nipping at heals of that old design which has really not changed in how long? I believe that they will come out with new chassis design eventually they have to can you imagine any company coming out with the same exact model every year with no improvements. Maybe just change the style or color. 😉

It's for industry people to go and discuss business, the displays are just for talking points and education when needed. It's not something that's open to general public to just walk around and look at the cars.
