I follow as many as big clubs as possible on the social media bit when it comes to clubs releasing players the feed will be full of the best clubs and who they're releasing it's handy when you don't have a big transfer budget.

just use your assistant to reminds you about all of these. They're there to do their job. i set it to every two weeks for meeting with assistant this will help you to manage your players individual training, interact with them as well as fill up your staff if there's any vacant spaces

Spotting it was for free this week I decided to jump back. Last version I played was FM17, so a lot has changed. Need to quickly relearn this monster of a game, and have little faith that FM25 will be playable in their first run on this new engine. Guess FM26 or 27 will be next focus for me.

I always grab a decent Technical Director (Guiseppe Sartori is brilliant) and within half to a full season i got the best staff across all teams in the ligue i play. Works like a charm.

I never understood why you need 50 - 100 staff members across your team. I always budget what I actually need. Do i really need 5 extra first team coaches for half a star extra in training?

Great info thanks - with staff , is more staff with lower stats better than less staff with higher stats ......?

Get a good technical Director (15+ nego and Staff Ability knowldege) - they will get your team to rank 1 across all staff types within 1 season. You have to set him as the full decision maker tho.

FM24 is my first FM ever and I was really enjoying it but realizing that you can just put everything on high intensity gegenpressing and just simulate the season always has way better results than if you were fine tuning things and making your own tactics yourself really made me lose any excitement. The fact that this is so broken honestly makes the game unplayable for me. I wish they balance things better in FM25.

running gegenpress losing the super cup and drawing the first games what am I doing wrong

Obviously gegenpressing would be good, most of the top teams use a high press and it works, FM is relatively realistic so obviously it would be a good tactic ingame too. Plus, a high intensity gegenpress tactic will injure most of your first team players and run your team to the ground once you get to the latter part of the season. Granted, it does work if you have great depth but not every team has man city level of depth. Also you could just choose not to use gegenpressing
