Best idea = I played with real Madrid 500 years in future. Team not see title with 80years...Man city not is factor and many other teams. After 1 year played I don't see super stars in game with Ronaldo or Messi stats. Game is more difficult, different and so much fun!!! And this keep my interes for the game 700+ hrs. Maybe this is future in FM ...you think add any addon/option for easy skip much years. And please optimise your game for long played with full leagues!!! @fmscout

England Euro save

Guinea-Bissau national team. You'll be more than surprised. Apart from choosing players from national pool, you will have to spend a lot of the time tracking and persuading numerous Portuguese players to pledge for their country of origin. You wouldn't believe what a team is possible to assemble, just if you manage to get some decent results with what you have, within first 2 or 3 years. Once you qualify for a major tournament , things start to unfold in the way you would never dream of. Portuguese, Spanish and French leagues ( down to third tiers ) running required.

Man, I cannot thank you enough for this idea. Just qualify directly to the World Cup via group stage (beating Egypt to it) and currently ranked 76th in the world. Best save I played, period!

@@sculpturex Guinea-Bissau is really something different due to numerous players with second nationality. Cape Verde national team is a bit similar to that. Crystal Palace was really interesting save for me. Or Aberdeen in Scotland. Trying to end up Old Firm domination is always fun, but also takes a lot of time, nerves and broken keyboards 🙂

Aalborg is a great pick, they did get promoted to the 1st division this season:) Fun fact: they drew 2-2 with Man United at Old Trafford in 2008 in the UCL

A note on Dorking Wanderers. The name "Bunch Of Amateurs" is actually a KZbin channel. Similar idea to Welcome To Wrexham, However, IMO, far better series than WTR, much less Hollywood-esk. Highly recommend watching their journey from the first series.

Currently have a save with Caernarfon on FM18 and have got to the year 2040. Have qualified for the Champions League group stage a few times. I really enjoy the build a nation type saves. I also like playing in South America and beating Brazilian dominance in the Libertadores might be a good challenge.

Started a save in create a club,playing in the Vanrama national,pick any side as a base edit the name of the your team,kits and clear out the existing squad replacing them with only out of contract players.The aim is premiership,hopefully and the name of my team is Green Park Rangers.🤗

Currently doing a Benfica save, recently won the CL after some narrow wins against Real Madrid in the semi finals and Against PSG in the final. The victories was mostly thanks to superb performences from Ouedraogo and Pafundi. It felt so good to beat Real Madrid twice for a 5-3 aggr. after they ruined my previous season where I went unbeated in all competions bar my losses to Real Madrid in the Club world cup final and The quarter final of the CL on a 2-1 aggr. loss. Currently has over 40 out on loan 30 in the first team rotation and 18 in the B squad. Also I am aided by playing on a smarttoaster, but still a good achivement after only 4 seasons.

When I played in Portugal as Académica de coimbra, benfica lost one domestic game in 2 years. The first year 33 wins and 1 draw against Chaves in premiera liga and the next year 33 wins and one loss to Sporting

Altrincham . . . season 1, finished 2nd place in vanarama national league and lost in play off final. season 2, won the league (101 points). however, really struggling to recruit any league 2 standard players and have signed up for a documentary covering our upcoming season . . . .

Looking forward to next seasons game, as no internationals will have been played (qualifying groups), so it'll be a fresh start. That's what really put me off this years game, as at the start of every new save the Euro Qualifying groups were always inacurrate. Previous results from those qualifiers were just randomised!

national football is busted anyways and needs a rework. its not nearly as good or fleshed out as club football.

I couldn't agree more, but for a game which bases itself on authenticity it should at the very least be accurate. Can't begin to tell you how annoying it was when starting a new game and the groups from the Euro qualifiers were incredibly unrealistic due to randomised results. I spent many of hours trying to get the national teams (who had qualified for the Euros) to actually qualify due to the randomised results whenever you start a new career. Takes the shine off it.

To me is what FM is all about. Manage Man city or real Madrid or PSG and say i won the Champions league os like playing call of duty in the easy level. I start with my local team that Plays on the portuguese ligue 3 atlético CP. FM Scout doesn't have much articles for minor leagues and there a thing you night explore. Start with no money and manage to get promoted is the thing, manage city is easy.

@@Ovcas well theres not much choice as only 3-4 clubs are of any value but i would recommend Hajduk,Dinamo,Rijeka or Osijek. I would ingore the rest as the HNL is very weak with only 10 clubs and only 4 out of 10 are viable. The rest are filler. But! Some amazing players to be found,and next season Europe is Calling(conference,europa and Champs league) ,so its a challenge
