The Clyde rebuild was fantastic, but the fact Connor Young who starts with a 33CA and a max PA of 60 somehow managed to keep performing from league 2 to scoring in the conference league final is crazy to me

His CA and PA is higher, afterwards I checked in the editor and his max PA is 110 so I think we must have got a version of him around that level!

Hello Tom, long time watcher first time commenter. My cousin is the real Ben Gleeson. He won a prestigious award in Man v Fat and as part of the prize, he was awarded a new gen spot in the latest Football Manager. It is so amazing to see him in your save and banging in goals despite being a Central Defensive Midfielder!!!

22:22 KI Klaksvik is not Icelandic. They are from the Faroe Islands 🇫🇴 and in real life stunned people when they actually caused some huge upsets to be the first Faroese team to make it into a European competition beating more recognizable teams like Molde, Ferencvaros and even giving a good accounting of themselves against French side Lille.

One thing I'd like to see in future rebuilds, at the end, would be if you could sim 5 years into the future, so we can see if your success lasted or if they went back down to League 2 (a la Swansea 1976-1986)...

If I saw that final screenshot right, Connor Young had gone from League Two youngster to captain of a Premiership and Europa Conference League winning side, yet didn't pay for Scotland once. That's harsh!

What I love about football manager rebuilds is it feel so much more satisfying winning as on fifa rebuilds over time it feel scripted but here it feels natural and a great achievement

As someone who lives in Cumbernauld where Clyde used to play this was a great watch, I usually do Clyde as my one club save every year

@@TomFM I could write a book here but TL:DR; they are originally from Glasgow(-ish) but were evicted in the 1990s, moved to Cumbernauld, were evicted again in 2022 and moved to Hamilton. They have a long-term plan to return to Glasgow.

@@TomFM They do, the lease is for three seasons with an option to extend for a further two, they could move after the third season ( 24/25 ) but they have the option to add addition seasons if they need it

Nice video and amazing turnaround but it does leave me with so many questions lol. Either you're really good at this or the game does weight for you slightly as it's incredible you took Clyde so far in 9 seasons with no takeover and really not much transfer spending.

This brings back memories. Played with Clyde in FM10 and i took them from bottom to the top of PL but it took way longer for me, i recon atleast 20 years. I found it very difficult to compete in Europe proper. After some luck i got to EL final against Sevilla and… lost. After that i closed the save and never went back.. heartbreaking! But all things considered fond memories :D
