i would say a classic 4-2-3-1 would work for the low block since its a solid shape and also its good for counter atttacking

Good tactical starting point. I'm trying it out in my Leicester save - and as you hinted at, the BWM is better as a Volante on support. I also changed the wide centreback on the right to support duty to help cover higher up the pitch for the volantes runs. The Volante does work well with the Inverted Winger on the right. The winger remains a counter attacking outlet, and looks to combine closely with the volante during long transitions, and also provides a good number of cutbacks to the volante on the edge of the box. I also changed my Complete Forward to a Trequartista, since my forward is more technical and less physically gifted, which also has the effect of forming a nice diamond in the middle, and generally prompting the wide players to make more aggressive inside runs.

@@trequinho I considered F9 and DLF on attack, but I prefer the movement of the Trequartista. Luckily, my team is hard-working enough that I can potentially carry a defensive passenger
