The soft land ramps are probably the best thing to happen for stunts.

I think? Evil Knievel and Son? Rolling in their graves right now. Landing on big air bags?! C'mon! Aren't those for idk.. practice? To land without one is truly mastering the feat.

The more I watch videos like this the more I want to know what is the hardest trick in freestyle history to do and what are some of the oldest tricks in the book a freestyle
@sparky-281 Жыл бұрын
Triple backflip probably the hardest only 3 guys have done it. As for the old skool tricks simple things like heel clickers and no handers advanced to the likes of cliff hangers, supermans, Hart attacks etc. But nowadays they are doing all these hard tricks whilst upside down it's crazy.
@wildvandee1079 Жыл бұрын
Yeah it's kind of crazy because some of the oldest hardest tricks to do sing super easy and simple for people who have been doing it for a long period of time

Imagine getting 98.33 and you are still only 2nd place. 🤯
The tricks are getting crazy these days so technical got to give them credit where credits due, but for me I prefer the old skool dirt to dirt freestyle courses with just one big trick over a huge gap.

@sparky-281 Жыл бұрын
@@Powerbandm yeah I work construction aswell I'm a bricklayer. Raha is definitely living the moto dream. I'm 41 and from Scotland, there wasn't a freestyle scene when I was younger here only racing which I didnt really get into was too serious and all the rules at the track I just didnt fit in with preferred to just freeride. so I grew up watching all the crusty movies on vhs in my early teens. I saw trigger gumm dressed as whitey the clown wheelie a cr up the beach getting chased by the beach patrol. I thought that was cool as fuk, Gave me ideas. This must have been 97 the year scream came out in the movies so I went bought ghost face mask and would shred up golf courses and ride the streets getting chased from the cops for fun. I didnt even have a mobile phone back then I wish I could have filmed a lot of the shit we used to do, young thugs terrorising neighbourhoods on our bikes would be funny to look back on 😂 About a mile from my house there was an abandoned quarry where me and my friends spent a lot of time building jumps and ripping around on the bikes. Cops never came there we would bring decks at the weekend, party, blast music with big fires on the go drinking and getting baked. I think back to them times and the stuff we could have done there if we had machinery could have built a baddass freestyle park. Even today 20 odd years later it's sitting empty acres of land going to waste kinda looks like Mannys yard a bit same kind of terrain. There was a big sand hill you had to give it the full beans on a 250 2t just to get up it. which you could then turn round fly off the top 3rd gear tapped and float down maybe 100 to 120ft, I think even if you hit it 4th tapped you still wouldnt land at the bottom. That's the closest I've come to a big jump and your only about 5ft off the ground but your still flying for a couple seconds. I watch videos of glamis and occotio wells thinking Fuk I was born in the wrong country. Big jumps, big trucks, nitros running bikes loud as fuk, guns, fireworks, explosions and party's man I get jealous it's all the stuff I like wrapped up in one place.

@@sparky-281 that’s so cool to know no matter what country you think of crusty demons made such an impact. I’m 25 right now but I was watching the crusty’s from the time I was born because my dad has always been into free riding! It’s also badass that you’re from Scotland, Sean Connery was the man! You’re so right about racing, it’s too rigid and serious. I could see going to a track and racing your buddies being very fun but doing it competitively sounds super stressful. In my opinion dirt bikes should be a stress reliever not a source of stress. Do you still ride MX?

I mean the landing ramps. Allow these guys more safety. But you can look at the packed stadiums from the 2000s. And as much as i dont want to see anyone get hurt. There is still a nervous feeling of watching these guys that has been lost with these air ramps. The danger aspect has been removed enough that when you watch Carey Harts first backflip on youtube the nostalgiax makes you more nervous than watching this guy do a triple backflip on this ramp... But i cant judge cause of i was out there id want the damn air ramps too... just my opinion on where the sport has gone.
