FN 545 Tactical vs FN 5.7. Which one is better?

Here is a good example. Would you rather be struck with a broom stick or a baseball bat ? Baseball bat being a .45 ACP and the 5x7 a broom stick. Speed can be a variable but it would have to be fast enough to do critical damage. Even though 5x7 is much faster it might not be fast enough to make a difference compared to a .45 ACP. A good example would be a micro meteoroid which is a very small object found in space that astronauts worry about penetrating their spacesuits or even the space station. Micro meteorites can be as small as a grain of sand but travel fast enough to penetrate the metal of the space station. The point being a small projectile from a gun would have to travel fast enough to do more damage than a large caliber slower moving larger projectile to do more or equal damage than a smaller projectile traveling at a faster speed. 5.7 does not compare to 45 auto. Never been interested in the 5.7 cartridge.

I agree. It is just a small high velocity bullet that still does not produce the kinetic energy as a 45. Thank you for watching
