There's never any hints of phone guy being an accomplice aside from him pushing aside the gruesome bits of the job, even then he's likely only brushing it off to make sure you don't quit. There is also no mention of the player character ever dying in the series (aside from sister location) or even evidence that you play as phone guy in FNAF 1. In fact, the only "proof" that does exist is phone guy saying that a golden suit was used in FNAF 2, and golden freddy appears in the first game. Even them it's shown that the yellow suit he was talking about was the spring bonnie costume, the one used to lure the kids away. I'm genuinely curious to see your sources to prove some of these conclusions you thought of, reading that paragraph was one hell of a fever dream. @SuperbConnor64 You are found dead the next day, collateral damage. Then in the first game, it's likely that the guy on the phone was caught and put on death row. The pizzeria of the first game being this surreal monotony that has no escape, which is what the character in the second game saw as well in between nights. The guy on the phone panicked, and it cost him and his new employee their lives. So you can imagine when the games after 2 abandoned this cool story, I stopped caring. The ties to real life murders were extremely scary, but once the kids started watching such a violent game series and making Scott a bunch of money, he had to sell out to them for cash seeing how majority rules, and cash is king. To his credit, he didn't hide his contempt with selling out in 3, being all about recycling stupid lore for dumb kids. No wonder that guy was so upset with every new game, his vision was ruined by Little Timmy. Just like the box from FNAF 4, the answers to the series changed over the years as Scott's life did. My favorite answers were in the first two games. It was so interesting and surreal. As if you could feel a monster breathing on your neck or had everything in your house replaced with an exact duplicate in the first game, this subtle terror. Then the second, which was a complete dread. Nowhere to run, and surrounded from all sides. Dead if you ran, doomed to suffer in the purgatory of the first game if you stayed.

For those who dont know, More kids were killed during fnaf 2. It's confirmed that William Afton was working the day shift during fnaf 2 (seen in the SAVETHEM minigame) and is the other employee phone guy is talking about William used his position of the day shift to kill even more kids This is why the spare yellow suit went missing and why Phone Guy seems to be nervous while talking about the other employee and doesn't mention why he was fired/left. This is also why Phone Guy said "especially considering any...previous employees" when talking about why the building is closed

William was fired upon Henry uncovering what he planned to do with the sister location. William took it upon himself to kill Henry’s daughter when the first Freddy Fazbear’s pizza restaurant was in chain. Charlie (Henry’s daughter) ended up being the one haunting the Puppet. William was still experimenting with the idea of remnant and came to the new establishment on several occasions. One of those occasions he came by dressed up as a night watch security guard wearing a purple suit, snuck into the parts and service, took the spring bonnie suit, lured 5 kids , killed them and got away with it. However the puppet put the souls of the children where they were stuffed (the old animatronics) and decided that, to protect more children, she would make it so that the Toy Animatronics were hostile to those who wore what William was weraring (the nightwatch guard’s outfit) No, 5 more children were NOT murdered in FNAF2 or previous locations. The 5 children continued to haunt the FNAF1 models because they used the parts of the withered ones to make the FNAF1 models. The toy animatronics are NOT possessed. Evan (C.C) was killed in Fredbear’s and Friends (he haunted Fredbear) in 1983 Charlotte Emily was killed outside Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza in 1984 Susie, Frits, Jeremy, Cassidy and Gabriel were killed in the New and Improved Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza in 1987. All souls except Evan continued to haunt the establishments that followed after the closing of the New And Improved location up until Pizzeria Simulator where they were all set free except Cassidy, who stayed and kept William’s soul in order to keep him in Purgatory (UCN) This is just to clear everything up because that comment is a clear misconception

Theory, I guess: Phoneguy saying, “your new summer job,” even thought the game is in November, is because the original night guard that was supposed to work in in the summer (possibly when the new pizzeria opened) ended up quitting on the first night or didn’t even get to the office at all. Possibly, Phoneguy or Fazbear Entertainment was too busy/lazy to record a new message. He could have continued when he found out the the new night guard stayed and decided to make the rest of the night phone calls, but I doubt the last part.

Or they're prerecorded messages to the nightguard before Jeremy, since one of the phone calls states the place is closing down despite it just reopening at the beginning of the game. Phone Guy also says that a birthday party will be scheduled the day after, but there's already birthday decorations set up prior to that call. He also states that someone used one of the suits in the back, causing none of the animatronics to act right, and implying that some kids died, but the animatronics are already trying to kill Jeremy on Night 1. This implies that they're already haunted. Phone Guy also states that he'll take the Night shift after the place eventually reopens, and who works at the FNAF 2 location when it reopens? Jeremy Fitzgerald.

The withered ones were possessed. That is likely the reason they even moved in the first place since they wouldn't be able to just turn on by themselves and while the toy ones to my understanding weren't possessed yet they were active all the time since they had that criminal database feature so they would be able to move since as he stated they don't have a night mode. Although it is a bit weird that chica takes her beak and eyes off to look more scary that is the only thing I don't understand.

From what I can tell William was the day shift security officer by this time he had killed charlotte and 5 others in the Freddy’s before the FNAF 2 location, parts of the original characters also haunted the toy characters. William was originally on the night shift but realized the characters remembered him and was able to survive the first week most likely being the one to find a old Freddy head and using it as a disguise. During the 4th day he messes with their facial recognition hoping to make the characters less violent towards him but instead making them hostile to all adults. William on day 5 using the old spring lock suit that was in the back and used it to trick more victims the fact the puppet and other characters know they failed yet again makes them ultra hostile most importantly the golden Freddy who was the victim “you shouldn’t have killed” who’s sprit alone could kill the player character on night 6. On day 7 the birthday party occurs and it’s actually one of the toys that causes the bite of 87 because phone guy said the characters were allowed to walk around during the day until the bite suggesting the toy characters bit either an adult or your character and destroyed their frontal lobe but didn’t actually kill your character…. And alas it was too much for the franchise the worker sold out and used the toy characters to fix up the original 4 characters and opens Freddy’s in 1993 the restaurant is smaller, less advanced but the show goes on

My theory about the whole “summer job but the paycheck says November” is that all of these phone calls may be prerecorded messages, except for Night 6. Maybe someone can check surveillance from a secure place and contacted the Phone Guy to tell them “hey, someone in there when they shouldn’t be” so he actually calls you that night. The only problem that I can see is that the FNAF 2 location has only been open for a few weeks. (That or all phone calls when the investigation is mentioned are actual phone calls, the others before that are recorded messages)

After listening back on these calls… what if that first night guard that got transferred was Afton? Hear me out: He takes the night shift so that he can program the animatronics to walk around during the night so that he can BS his way to a day shift. From there, he enacts the murder of the Save Them kids, and lies about the rumors (which turns out to be the truth) of the tragedies of the missing kids. Afterwords, the animatronics begin their irregular behavior due to possession, and he is terminated (unknown whether by firing or by voluntary leave, but my guess is the former). After all of this, he enacts the Missing Children Incident, as described by the Phone Guy by his elaboration of having a “Yellow Suit in the back; someone used it. Now none of them are acting right.”

The reason the building went into lockdown was because of the Bite Of 87, which was this. A certain number of kids were breaking apart Mangle, and one day, it become so unstable that it bit down on one of the kids’ heads, resulting in the loss of the frontal lobe of the victim’s brain. That is why all of the toy animatronics were scrapped.

Phone guy recorded these messages months before the character we play as started working there. We actually play after the building has re-opened. It seems that someone had the job in the summer and these tapes were recorded for them but then the Spring Bonnie animatronic was stolen and a tragedy happened which led to them closing for quite some time. Basically from night 1 - 5 you play as a kid named Jeremy. He’s the one who gets bitten by mangle causing the bite of 87. After the bite, you play as Frtiz/Micheal Afton who is William’s son. He is the one who goes to all the locations to free the souls. By the phone guy saying “someone sued the yellow suit” and “none of them are acting right” emphasizes William killed the children and put their bodies in the suits already. He doesn’t die for some time.

Because of this phone call, many people believe there was a second Missing Children’s Incident in 1987. NO. There was not second Missing Children’s Incident, and the toy animatronics were not haunted the same way the originals were. It would be out-of-character for Afton to murder a second group of kids because he had no motivation to do so. It would also mean there are five souls out in the world that the storyline completely ignores. It’s true, the animatronics didn’t have a “criminal database.” They were instead programmed to hunt one specific person: Afton. Henry programmed them specifically to identify Afton and keep him out. But they mistake the staff’s purple uniforms for his same uniform. This is why they hunt the night guard, and why the Bite of 87 victim was probably the day guard. Afton came in the Spring Bonnie suit, but not to kill kids. He tried to extract remnant from the withered animatronics, while hiding his face. But Henry was fully aware of how his Bonnie suit trick. Unbeknownst to him, they were programmed to recognize his suit as well, and went on the prowl. “None of them are acting right” by Night 6 because they’re actively hunting Afton. This theory has its weak points, but it’s more narratively satisfying and sound than having a second MCI.

This is my speculation of the fnaf timeline: I believe Charlotte's death happened before CC's death unless Charlotte died somewhere else other than Fredbears. Restaurants do not close after a murder, it just makes people not want to visit the restaurant. In addition, this was Henry's restaurant and he cant just sue the company or restaurant by himself. With CC's death happening in public, that sure will end up with numerous lawsuits, causing the restaurant to close. So thats why I believe CC died after Charlie's death. 1st MCI happens 2 years later. And (if there was ever) 2nd MCI happened another 2 years later in 1987. Five years later, last Freddy's pizzeria closes.

Michael Afton was a teenager in 1983 - he was the Bully Brother in FNAF 4. He was absolutely old enough for a Freddy's job by 1987, assuming the job doesn't require any special qualifications. Also, the person working at the Custom Night gets fired for tampering with the animatronics' programming. The pink slip even calls them out for getting fired like this on their first day. Phone Guy, meanwhile, keeps his job all the way until his death in the pre-recorded Night 4 phone call, prior to when Mike "Schmidt" (also likely an alias for Michael Afton) takes the night shift.

And the Fact that it's referred to in the calls as a "Summer Job", but Jeremy (As seen in his pay check) is working there Months later in Winter. So the calls clearly aren't made for the Winter Worker (Jeremy), and are therefore most likely left for the gaurd who actually has a Motive for breaking in during the lockdown, the one who was also Fired for tampering with the animatronics, who clearly had motives outside of just being a Night Gaurd. That'd mean that Night 7 is the night of the Actual Lockdown, hence why the animatronics are at their Most Active.

Also, a very, very, VERY, brief timeline: -Fredbear's Opens (1983) -First Freddy's Opens (1983) -First Freddy's Closes down (1985) The Withered animatronics, came from The First Freddy's Location. Then: -Fnaf 2, Grand Reopening ( Early-Mid 1987) -Fnaf 2 Closes (Late 1987) We are told that the toys at this point, are scrapped, and the Withered animatronics will be repaired, for a new, smaller location on a lower budget. Hence, Fnaf 1 Opens, and we Play the game there, at the time of 1993. These Used to be the withered animatronics, but now, after fnaf 2, they have been repaired, to the fnaf 1 conditions.

So when it's quiet, they think they're in the wrong room, so then they go try to find where the people are, and in this case, that's your office. So our temporarly solution is this: there's a music box over by the Prize Counter, and it's rigged to be wound up remotely. So just, every once in a while, switch over to the Prize Counter video feed and wind it up for few seconds. It doesn't seem to affect all of the animatronics but it does affect... one of them. *Clears throat* Uh, and as for the rest of them, we have an easier solution. You see, there may be a minor glitch in the system, something about robots seeing you as an endoskeleton without his costume on, and wanting to stuff you in a suit, so hey, we've given you an empty Freddy Fazbear head, problem solved! You can put it on anytime, ane leave it on for as long as you want. Eventually anything that wandered in, will wander back out. Uh, something else worth mentioning is kind of the quirky modern design of the building. You may have noticed there are no doors for you to close, heh. But hey, you have a light! Why fnaf 2 was before fnaf one .Fred Bares family diner was left to rot not fnaf 1 because on the fnaf 2 phone call it states that the animatronics were able to Rome around and in the fnaf one phone call it states that to but is said that was bc of the bite of 87 and the bite of 87 was by mangle and not fredbear bc of fnaf 4 so it supports the statement that fnaf 2 was befor fnaf 1 In fnaf 2 on the first phone call it said that that did not know why the animatronics where moving around so the being made withered animatronics got a night mode which also supports why fnaf 2 was before fnaf one In the fnaf 2 phone call it said that there where no doors and in fnaf one there is doors so they made it more secure for the Night guard bc of what was happening And the crazy part is I GOT THIS OUT OF ONE FNAF 2 PHONE CALL
