Shadow Freddy (the one behind all of the weird things happening) see’s that his guardian failed and then decides to send our hero’s in a dream, but then Golden Freddy comes out of nowhere and takes him into a fight! Meanwhile our hero’s are in an alternate dimension and Shadow Freddy sends the nightmares to defeat them.
Our hero’s defeat them and Golden Freddy sends them back to the real world and Shadow Freddy smashes Freddy and then goes into a crazy fight scene with Golden Freddy.
