I'm surprised that when Dawko argued that the Mediocre Melodies were just animatronics that Henry made so that maybe Michael buys them and maybe it helps to lure the other animatronics back, nobody brought up how the Mediocre Melodies have magnets in Security Breach. And not only do they have magnets, but they're the first magnet you get, which has significance within the plot, so you would assume that that's the only magnet that has to be canon. If Henry created them as throwaway characters that were destroyed after a few days in one small location, why would they become a notable part of the Fazbear brand years later?

Hard agree! One of the Security Breach endings even show a Glamrock Mr. Hippo joining the band. I don't remember which ending, but Monty took over for Freddy and the company then brought in Mr. Hippo to play the triangle. Definetely not one-off characters. Of course it's possible that he's just a running gag as this isn't one of the "canon" endings for Security Breach, but the Mediocre Melodies are not animatronics strictly made for the Pizzaria Simulator location if they have merch and (debatable) physical appearances in Security Breach. Gregory even knows who Mr. Hippo is and calls his magnet lame instead of going "who on earth is this animatronic."

I love the connection ID made about the Phone Guy having seen William stuffed in the Spring Lock suit before he died. It would make sense that if William was posing as a Security Guard to dismantle the animatronics and then ended up dead that PG would warn us, the new Night Guard, that that's what the Animatronics would do if they caught you. That also helps make sense of the lack of buttons we see as the animatronics* would have had to have been put back together from Afton's dismantling before we see them in FNAF 1

@@TheDangerNoodle Not necessarily, the rooms in question were just sealed off abruptly so they wouldn't have to close down. Those rooms were secret/employee only anyway, right? And it's not as if afton had family to look after him that the company would have to deal with to get the whole thing to 'go away' and avoid the public eye. Edit: Nvm this is exactly what you said! But like you mentioned if it was a normal employee Freddy's would be tanked and there really is no other way that phone guy would know about being stuffed into a suit and the sealed rooms if he hadn't seen afton

@@TheDangerNoodle Maybe phone guy himself didn't, but what if that's what the company said to the other employees because they found Afton in the suit but didn't knew that he had put it on himself? They just knew that the animatronics walked around at night and assumed that, since their programming it's supposed to tell them to put endoeskeletons into empty suits, they did it and told phone guy to warn the newer guards about that. And with the "not earlier into fnaf 1" part, maybe Scott took some kind of inspiration from that part of the calls for Afton's death in fnaf 3 because the only instance we had of someone dying inside of the suits up until that point was the fnaf 1 calls.

At this point, with FNAF being such a large corporate franchise, I think the "true timeline" is simply a marketing strategy the company is using against people like these (theorists) to continue selling the franchise for them. Ultimately, I think Scott's true sentiment was reflected by Mr. Hippo's dialogue that ended with "... A story is just a story.", and when he left the main game franchise, let go of the timeline all together. Scott may have the "true timeline" in his head, but will never confirm or deny any of it to keep the audience never 100% satisfied, and will take it to the grave. Maybe he's the GOAT of trolls of the 21st century.

When ID said something about an arcade cabinet potentially being what “frees” Gregory, it reminded me of the area behind the daycare theater that Matpat said could be where Gregory lives and inside was the BB minigame (arcade cabinet) hence being what freed Gregory

As much as I hate the idea of Michael helping his father, this actually makes a lot of sense. If scott wanted to show his body decaying, he could have used a color like yellow or green, but he chose purple specifically. It could have been to hint at his Afton roots, but considering that the last cutscene says that he's michael outright and in light of the implications of the encyclopedia, I am inclined to agree.

i love hyperdroid and id sm. id seemed nervous at first but i think she kinda escaped that after she began speaking (she is literally like a mastermind why does she know everything i'm in awe) but droid seemed nervous to talk for longer which made me sad, i love hearing his pitches so i wish he spoke more but nerves are nerves, hope he grows more confidence soon. also love the jokes about dawko and john; they're both such likeable people lol.

I vaguely remember one of Mat's earlier attempts at a timeline suggesting the idea that the FNaF 2 location was open twice, once in the summer and then the grand reopening in 1987, with the "Summer job" phone calls being recorded for the guard working at the location the first time. Phone Guy even qualifies his "The place is closed down" statement with "At least for a while", so it's possible they managed to reopen, only for something to go wrong _again_ at the end of the week we play through. The first incident could be the MCI (Or at least, _an_ MCI), and the second could be the Bite of '87, which is why the Toys are scrapped only after that.

I really feel as much as his theories are disagreed with, Matt, in particular, always makes sure to give credit at his new ideas and new ways of looking at things. (Matt is just a really good dude and you can tell how important it is to him that these people get given the respect their due) Sometimes, people will get wrapped up in their own personal biases and theories that it's hard to see another view point. John does a fantastic job at blending both proof and speculation based on that proof that nobody else really is addressing at least in a larger public sphere. Which can lead to interesting conclusions that others can't reach just based on the fact that they aren't familiar with this "new" clue BUT I do think in the end his discoveries help solidify or change his fellow theorists own theories.

Not much of a theorist. Not much of a horror lover. But I do agree with the whole "intent behind why it's cut" idea. Personally, when it comes to some of Freddy's voice lines, I feel like there may be too much being read into them. For example the replacement of "your broken" vs "your bleeding" sure it could be a rating thing, it could be a hint, but it may also simply be "Freddy's a robot and has no concept of injury besides broken chassis" Secondly along the same line is the whole "you look different." After he gets Roxy's eyes. Could it be hinting that Gregory is a robot? Sure. But also Freddy has x-ray vision now, of course Gregory is going to look different if Freddy can see right through him ignoring whether his skeleton his metallic or bones. Overall I side with ID and Dan. If it sparks a thought? Go for it. If it was replaced by something else? Probably not that important.

I think because there is so many pieces and different timelines, Scott should maybe confirm most significant events. Either it is confirmed in the movie or by a piece of dialogue or even in an interview with Scott, because one confirmation can go a long way. For example, confirming whether FNAF 1 or 2 came first, if FNAF 2 was a dream or not, if the security guard was Henry or Michael, or whether Michael killed the kids before or after his family's death can answer A LOT. I know a game should have mystery and challenges but if Dawko is right about FNAF being in the next stage, then the first stage should most likely be confirmed to a T. This is helpful for theorists and players because they can be able to interpret new events and lore, with a solid foundation of the previous games. If there is confusion and different theories people do not know what is right or not, and sometimes hints can make it more confusing. So please Scott confirm at least one essential part of the story, that will help theorists and the community. Again, it can go a long way.😭😭😭😭😭

I think you should maybe do 1-on-1 streams with each of them and their biggest theories (ID's SL theory, HyperDroid's newest Timeline, Ryetoast's reaction to your theory) like you did with FuhNaff and get them in a call 1-on-1 to share their reasonings and debate with you about it freely! When talking about "can the timeline be solved" this came to mind: When working on a puzzle, we use both if a piece fits together with another as well as sight to solve it. It really feels like we all have all the correct pieces, it is just we're all blind, so we aren't aware that Piece A and Piece B, although they fit together, one is from the upper part of the puzzle and the other is from the lower part. So yeah, it can be solved, we just need to get insanely lucky, or have someone that can see (Scott) assist us
