Love these reviews as always. Thankful that you can give me the mouse/mousepad addiction I crave without having to buy every single one... I like the idea of the glass skates. A buddy of mine was able to get an early pair and he says it makes the glide so consistent regardless of pad.

Well I like what this pad is going for as a jack of all trades. I like hybrid pads on the speedier side such as Madcatz Glide 38/Strider/Hien/CM511/MPC890 but this Fnatic Focus 3 has my attention, if I want to dable more into control without going full mud swamp that's the one! It's an initiation control pad lol! I hope the durability leaves up to it, cuz I've heard the Dash's coating wears off in a month or so and slows down. I prefer consistent pads.

Hi, I have been using HyperX speed edition for 2 years with S2(aftermarket PTFE skates) and it feel fast still. Is this mouse pad on a control side?

I'm using the focus 3 with stock ptfe skates. It has one the lowest static friction on a cloth pad, but I would like a tad lower static friction then the focus3. I'm thinking about trying the Dash for this. I don't want to upgrade my skates because I feel like it will lower static, but also stopping power will be less which will be harder to flick. I also like the surface of the focus3 will it be smooth and able to glide my arm well without much friction or tugging on my sweater?

Vouch. I adore the Dash. Not sure if there is a difference between "V1" and "V2" but it's very slept on mousepad. People put it in a category of Hien clone which honestly is not the case. Dash is very smooth, hien is like a sandpaper. Dash offers unique "tactile feedback" on your feet, thing i've only experienced on MPC450, but it's even more on the Dash. Hien is scratchy on both your wrist and mousefeet. Compared to my xsoft Hien, Dash is also ever so slightly faster with a touch lower dynamic and static friction but the overall gliding experience feels much better.

Little off topic but I changed my RTSS FPS lock to 260fps for Apex and the micro stutters/improper framepacing is gone. I never thought they'd fix this after almost 3 years lmao it feels so much smoother now.

For wrist aim and high sense, I would probably go for the focus 3. It will be smooth, but more controlled than the mp511. The mp511 might be "too" fast with high sens. I actually like both pads though so that's a really tough call.

The traigun is a nice pad and is probably faster than the focus 3. The focus 3 is more of a balanced of with just a hair of speed thanks to its smoothness

If you want a feeling of more control, gp4. Focus 3 is more balanced, smoother, and has just a hair past balanced towards speed. I personally like the focus more for a majority of games I play
