This match was insane. Both teams played their hearts out. That last round was so close, and the map could've gone both ways. From Fnatic's point of view, we can only hope they don't suddenly suffocate like they did in the EMEA final. EG are probably the best next to Fnatic in the tournament so far, but need to beat NRG/PRX in the lower finals.

I literally rewatched some of their games during lockin just to confirm that they were really just running the same shit.

This team's starting five has only been playing together for like three months They aren't near their peak yet as a team and can still improve Moral victories don't mean much but showing they can go 12 rounds with the best team in the world is a big first step. Presumably, Fnatic and EG will meet again in the Grand Finals. I believe so.

Most people do not realise that while Derke and Demon1 are the ceilings of the teams, it is quiet anchors like C0M, Leo, Alfajer and Chronicle who are holding down the fort. They get good reads on enemies, important spam kills on rifle rounds and sick clutches to break the other team’s economy. It is really so hard to decide who is the best player among the Fnatic and EG trio.

It was a good play, he just got barely spotted on minimap and spammed by Leo. If he managed to turn the round, everyone would say that he's the smartest player alive. I wouldn't go with what if. If we do that for both teams, we can argue that fnatic would've won on Fracture, or just stomp 2nd half of Split. It is what it is.

I know it's a bit early, but I think FNATIC have already got this event in the bag. Beating EG here just secured them a 2 map ban advantage in the grand finals. That means Fracture and Pearl will be automatically banned, removing EG's 2 win condition maps. FNATIC's Lotus and Bind are just too good to be contested. And their Haven and Split ain't too bad either.

The FNATIC vs PRX match was just too lopsided to be interesting. FNATIC will have a 2 map ban advantage in the finals, which means that Pearl and Bind will almost certainly be banned if they play PRX. That would leave maps that FNATIC just dominates on. I think an EG vs FNATIC finals would be closer and more interesting.

The last round in the last map is so winnable for eg but when com gets up in the same spot of box I think there's a gap in the smoke that is why he got spam.
