Can we all now agree mikyx is the secret sauce in g2? His plays here were insane. Hans Sama seems to work with his playstyle well. When mikyx gets an adc as nuts as him, it’s like magic.

@@aeon5566 It might not have been his fault, but how many teamfights were there where 4 FNC were fighting G2 and Rekkles wasn't anywhere near? The guy just desperatly tries to not get killed, he rather watches his team get killed than risking himself getting killed. His playing style just doesn't fit the current gameplay anymore and it has been that way since before he joined G2. G2 runs in and starts killing people, meanwhile Rekkles is always waiting for that perfect shot.

Nah, he was the one trying to play at tier 2 bot tower and he got 2 shutdowns while the other wanted to recall, i think the problem was the matchup itself but going with it can't be his entire fault, if the team doesn't oppose the choice of playing yuumi zeri into draven naut then it's the team's fault, so i wonder what the fuck is fnc doing, ego comps instead of going for what's best to win.

I love reading all the hatewatcher comments shitting on Rekkles after those first games. Without saying anything about his performance this game or comparing him to Upset in general, he had almost no hand in the outcome of that game. The draft was daring, the stakes were high and someone called that early Play on botside. This one decision snowballed very hard and I wouldn't put all the blame on Rekkles. It just seems like you're judging him harsher just because of his persona and the shoes he has to fit in. I'm not a FNC or Rekkles fan but jesus, give the guy a break. Also instead of blaming the loser for losing, why not commend the insane performance of G2? They read the situation and played it out really well. Cudos.

I don't understand why Fnatic replaces Upset with Rekkles ? I can understand if Fnatic need a better support or better top laner, jungler, but why bot laner ??? Upset did nothing wrong to be replaced. When it comes to Fnatic and G2, I think Fnatic should recruit G2 bot lane couple from the last season. I believe that G2 is simply outsmart Fnatic when it comes to strategy and execution. Fnatic relies quite heavily on the performance of individuals rather than how that member will mix in the team, not to mention Fnatic always follow the same tactic, which makes them get busted easily.

I think Upset wanted to leave FNC. And regarding the strategy... G2 is better. But FNC could have acquired Elyoya, meaning Razork is left without a team by 2023 (or a not-so-great team to he). FNC preferred to stay with Razork so that he is not without a team despite losing the best jungler in the LEC (elyoya). I think that speaks better of FNC being an organization that cares about its players, something that G2 hasn't shown lately. Despite being a bit stupid, I'll stay with FNC

I dont think he makes us forget, however, he is a good replacement. I was sceptic about this and I dont understand kicking Jankos out at the first place, but Yike is a proper pro jungler fit to play in G2. There is no failure in G2 this year.

I'm waiting until I see Yike compete against eastern junglers, but I don't think he can do better than Jankos. Jankos was literally carrying games when he played well and it was all on him. Noone else could help him to win the game. That is why Yike has a hard job to handle. But I believe in him.

As a FNC fan, I waited to see how losing one of the best supports, Hyli, and the best ADC in EU last year, Upset (by far), to bring the washed Rekkles (everyone can see he has nothing more to offer) and a random supp was going to play out. All I can now say, well done to FNC management for such a shitty decision. And well done to G2 for the most one sided match between the 2 teams I have ever watched.

Tbh I can see why they went for Rhuckz, he was fairly good in the matches he played at worlds (even if it was play-ins) and after 6 years with Hyli , some fresh blood could be good, but kicking Upset out was a very bad move, plus both Wunder and Rekkles prefer being weakside, leaving more pressure to Humanoid to perform (and thus be more predictable too)

​@@tinheart2853 LMAO Jankos is the most washed out player among ex-G2 players. His playstlye is way too obsolete and can't catch up with all new junglers anymore. Yike is the reason why G2 has such a smooth early game right now. That's how good jungler can contribute to a team. Knowing his team winning condition, hitting where it hurts the most and know what is his advantage. Jankos can't do that anymore, he's always 1-2 steps behind top tier junglers. I don't really like Wunder too but Jankos is the same, even worse in some senses because Jungler has way more impact to the team than top.
