Amazing. You’re so knowledgeable of different cuisines. These were as authentic as it gets. My mother was born and raised in Mexico and she still makes these for me to this day. Even the salsa was on point.

Good boy Gus! He just got that ball last week didn’t he? He’s adorable. As much as we love watching the two of you it’s a little bit torturous as well at the end of the segment we’re sitting here with our mouth open wishing we were taking that first bite of those taquitos! My favorite Saturday brekkie atm is simply Bacon, Sunny Eggs, and Homefries (just onions, no peppers) all cooked in the rendered bacon fat & maybe a lil butter if I feel like it. For garnish, I unregretfully drown all of it in a sensible amount of Crystal's Louisiana hot sauce. It reminds me of the first family meal breakfast I ate when I moved to a bigger city as a young cook, but I think I use white pepper sometimes ❤

Oh my goodness those taquitos looked absolutely delicious 😋 I love all the toppings you both put on top. My mom likes to add fresh lime juice on top of the onions and it's wonderful on top of taquitos, enchiladas, etc

In one house I lived in, my roommate had lived with a Mexican mama, and learned flautas, "red rice," black beans, and "burnt salsa." Whatever the real names, that's what we called them. That was our company dinner, and I was always excited because that meant leftover flautas 😍 we always made too many on purpose!
