I'm in love with Codename engine, it is basically ultimate, very comfortable since you get used to the way it's made and learn hscript and how to figure out stuff from it's clean source code. The thing about this engine that wasn't mentioned in this video is that it also has soft-coded WIP 3D space and models support!

to be honest, the best part of codename is the atlas character support, that thing is wild, it makes gf use 7.5MB instead of 256MB, honestly amazing

6:13 small correction for this vs imposter v4 uses psych engine 0.4.2 (older version thats very VERY unpolished) the engine has since been reworked to run alot better on lower end pcs since 0.6 and above

@@CherryChrii ngl it would make sense since when it comes to updating on the source code, its a pain in the ass to recode everything in because of how each update it changes up the source code like what terraria did and tmodloader for 1.3 --> 1.4, i mention that because i felt dissapointed that all the knowledge of learning 1.3 terraria tutorials of modding down the drain by it's heavy source code change, yet i aint smart on C#.

You forgot Leather Engine. This mod isn't as known as anything else you're mentioned (although Ronezkj & Spurk 1.5 and Voiid Chronicles made it known), but is still convenient to use. It's as easy to make a mod on LE as on PE, it has a multikey system like in VS Shaggy (up to 18 keys), song speed adjuster and anything else. Leather Engine is fantastic

Im using codename (still learning) and psych engine the engine is cool for programmer newbies bc of lua which also means indie game devs can code in the engine too (welos adventures or roblox etc) however my fav is fps + bc i just like it especially the input.. nostalgia whatever i think ill use fps plus for my serious run mod instead of for fun ones
