Strange how no one's talking about how around 2:07, while BF does the left pose as he should when the left note is pressed, Dawn shows a sign of distress, looking worried and scared. Makes me wonder if Dawn fears of her imminent demise as the contract slowly progresses, and as she slowly disappears. Another thing that's noticeable is that as Dawn fades, BF instead is shown covering his ears whenever the space bar is pressed, while Dawn no longer does her animation. Almost as if she already knows her fate, and is slowly reaching her point of accepting her death.

Basically, Hell Bell is a creepypasta where someone receives a shiny Bronzong from the GTS in their copy of Pokemon Platinum. The Bronzong communicates via the mail item and instructs the player to go to the burned tower, where they go to what is basically hell and deliver the pokemon to its owner "Beelze" (likely meant to be Beelzebub) Beelze then makes the player sign a contract to sell their soul to him, requiring them to use their REAL name, which is why Dawn suddenly becomes bf near the end.

For anyone who doesn't know the story: Hell Bell is a creepypasta which goes like this: A person plays pokemon on their 3ds and they encounter a man unlike any other. The man asks them for their name, and the player puts in their character's name. The man tells them to put in their real name, and so they do. After they do that, they slowly get sucked into the game. Boyfriend signed his name and he was being pulled into the game, as you can see from the transition. "RING THE BELL RING THE BELL RING THE BELL" The Hell Bell is a pokemon that shortens someone's lifespan when you hear the bell. It also is deafeningly loud, as you can see from Dawn and BF's prices when they do the covering ears animation. I'm pretty sure I told it wrong, but that's about all I know. I got bored and counted how many times hell bell bongs and it bong a total of 58 times. Which if you subtract it from the notes combined with which is 700, it comes to 642 normal notes. Which the max score of the song without the bell notes is 224700 opposed to 245000 with the bell notes.

In the original creepypasta, the sprite just appears as the main character. Dawn does not die, more like she is replaced with boyfriend. Even then, Boyfriend isn't sucked into the game at all, and is instead "Owned" by Beelzebub, which inflicts this strange curse onto him. I've only learned about it recently tbh! :)
