Also CONTEXT FOR SONGS - Story Mode- Tutorial, Shell Shocker, & Flames: All self explanatory Fury: THIS Bowser is based off the transformation he undergoes in Super Mario 3D World, Bowser's Fury. - Freeplay - Lethal Lava Cruise: Based off of the original Bowser fight in the first ever Mario game. So Long: Against SM64 Bowser. Dog Eared: Based around the transformation Bowser undergoes in Paper Mario: The Origami King, the developers of this mod actually work on a mod based around the entirety of that game! Crowned: Against Bowsette (oh god) Shell Shocker (D-Sides): THIS is the one that needs the most context. Now, back in the early areas of FNF modding, people would remix songs from the base game and change the colors slightly, and these mods would be come to be known as "Sides" mods. "Sides" mods remix tracks from the base game while making them undergo recolors (and sometimes mods). D-Sides is one of these mods, however it is to date the most high-effort and most different Sides mod there is. D-Sides doesn't just remix and recolor characters, but it can also change a characters story, identity, personality, name, and much more to similar, opposite, or completely different to the original. The D-Sides team has made various designs for how certain characters would look like in this AU, some being Sonic, Mario, Pac-Man, Spongebob, and more! The one you face in this song is called Dowser, and he is the D-Sides variant of Bowser. (Hope that wasn't too confusing, in a way, D-Sides is a sort of alternate universe from real life where it peaks into how different characters could have looked if taken down a different path, I recommend looking up the D-Sides mod on Funkipedia and finding the character refs if you wanna see more D-Sides characters! There is a LOT!) Rapland: Faces off King Koopa from the Super Mario Bros Super Show! Dark Immunity: faces off against Dark Bowser and Fawful, the final bosses of Mario & Luigi, Bowser's Inside story! In the original game, you face off against Fawful inside Bowser while being Mario & Luigi, but in this song they've been replaced with BF and GF. Fawful has been entirely corrupted by the Dark Star, an entity made of pure malice and power, and used its strength to create Dark Bowser, an alternate to Bowser. Fawful has been pulling the strings behind the whole game to reach this point, and you had to stop him. Rage Party: Faces off against the Bowser in Super Mario Wonder! This version of him is the final boss where he transforms into speakers and music equipment!

It's still so funny to me that "Ball of condensed malice" is one of the Nintendo antagonists of all time. I'm not specifying Fawful because there's actually multiple occurrences of this idea in the various IPs they lay claim to. Pokemon has at least 2 main antagonists that fit this theme, both in Mystery Dungeon, being Bitterfrost from GoI and Dark Matter from Super.

The devs of this mod made/are making a Paper Mario TOK FNF mod. It's just literally called FNF TOK and has a V2 on Gamejolt. I'm eagerly awaiting the climactic V3 where either the story ends or we just get the Shangri Spa Chapter only. EDIT(After a while): 35:21 The composer of the track this is basically remixing does work on this series the game is referencing as well as old final fantasy and Kingdom Hearts.

The last song is pretty much a song version of the final boss battle in mario and luigi bowsers inside story for the DS except mario and luigi being replaced with bf and gf.

Now that I think about it, Bowser's singing is surprisingly good if we considder Dance Dance Mario Mix cannon as Bowser says he's tone deaf.

Honestly, he probably just need motivation. If there's one thing you can say about Bowser, it's that he is an unrelenting force when he is actually motivated, capable of some genuinely absurd feats. We also have him singing in the Movie (where he IS being portrayed by an actual musician that is the lead vocalist of his own band). So, there's that too.
