Possible backstory: Eteled had discovered Monika's tendency on deleting others for her own gains. To make her see the pain she's inflicting he tracks her down through a computer similar to Austin in order to make her stop deleting and causing pain fearing she would move on to the Miis. And if she would refuse to stop, Eteled would make her stop by chopping her legs and then her head off if he had to.
