I really like this version, it’s not as intense as the past versions which is a shame but overall it’s a banger, although the second half of the Zalgo singing part sounds iffy, it’s a WIP though so I’m sure it’s going to sound better when it’s finished, sucks that the I won’t let you win voice line got removed too

Imo, all last chance versions are amazing. While this version does loses a bit of the touch the previous versions did, there are also some things it does well (like the instrumental is a banger in it’s own way as well holy shit) I’m not entirely sure why but everytime a Rerun song gets remastered it feels like adding in amazing additions to the song while simultaneously also taking out parts from the previous versions of the song that were also good, that’s kinda my main issue with the song changes.

For me sometimes less is more. Doing so much to an already good song often makes it lose touch of what it already is. I like its intensity with the previous versions, but this one is good but it removes what we all love it for. Especially that chase scene it had in v6. Edit: ik this is a WIP. I'm a little hyped for v8 tho. V7 is still good even if it's currently unfinished.

These are just my opinions, and i would mostly say my problems are most likely because this is a wip, so most elements aren't even finished, and video sound quality sucks here. First off, most of the original segments were vastly improved. Getting rid of the previous pitch, and just improved the flow of the beginning and the zalgo tails segment really shows in this version, especially zalgo tails vocals before he takes over/kill sonic. Sonics vocals are decent, they aren't as simplistic as before so they're not as aduible, but that might just be because of it being a wip and mixing is kinda awful because of that. But the vocals aren't bad. Eggman segment flows a lot better into the song and doesn't feel out of place anymore. Sonics monolouge or speech is better with a more fitting sonic 2 game gear sounding instrumental. The final segment is really weird, can't really explain but I think its just the vocals aren't really meant to go this fast and it sounds like a mess. Tails segement near the end also sounds worse, they tried to make him sound more complex and scared i think but the vocals are barely audible when they go super fast. A lot better, probably the best version tbh. but like last time the new segements need somework.

In Top Loader it was good because it was used well and wasn't repeating it every second - Repetitive instrumental - 1:44 this part just... Lost the horror feel..? My ears feel nothing Edit: the only part I don’t think is worse than v6 is the second phase, 170 bpm segment and the first part of the lyrics Also zalgo’s chromatic is an octave or two too high.
