I can see you put full confidence in those thermocouple tolerances on the LB02 and conclude it has better accuracy, but did you test these claimed thermocouple tolerances with 0.025% & 0.1% on the LB02..? 10:01 as one thing to claim it - another thing is to also deliver it in practise and Im still unsure if it delivered those.. you validated these themocouple tolerances on the.LB02. do you have a timestamp on the LB02 vid for those fx a marginsheet for soem sourcing & measurement of the thermocouple aspect..? thx for the vid.

The table was created from the manufacturer's specifications and not from measurements. I have tested the RTD measurements on the LB02 but I did not video it. Whilst the LB02 has a better tolerance specification, the temperature display has a resolution of 1 degree, so when testing, you can get a wide resistance range for the temperature value. You also have the 0.2mA excitation current requirement with the LB02, that I am not sure how you would get with a PT100 RTD. I was scratching my head a little as to how I could verify the accuracy really. I have not tested the thermocouple on any of the meters. I may do a separate video on that when I have tested the Mr Signal unit. Thanks for watching.

Nice video. I did see there was a new process calibrator, the MR9271Pro. Are you going to test that one? Thanks

I haven't seen MR9271Pro, thanks for letting me know about it. I want to get some thermocouple testing done with these units first before I get another calibrator.

the LB02 looks like a simpler interface, quicker to adjust. really interested in getting an all-in-one device like these
@three-phase562 Жыл бұрын
Some aspects of the LB02 are easier to adjust but the extended controls are not so user friendly. Depends what you want from the unit really. I do like the source and measure capability of the Fnirsi units, that the LB02 lacks, but the LB02 is more stable and accurate. Thanks for watching.

@@three-phase562 want to have known measurements for my Fluke 98 ScopeMeter, also wanted to have a signal generator or at least one of RTD.

According to the manual it can be controlled under MODBUS Slave mode and at the end of the manual there are tables of MODBUS functions. But, the manual does not describe how to connect the wiring. Does anyone know how to communicate and control this device using MODBUS (RS485) ?
@three-phase562 Жыл бұрын
There are standard Modbus connections on a 3.5mm stereo jack on the bottom of the unit.

@@three-phase562 SG-004A doesn't have any 3.5mm stereo jack on the bottom of the device. Checked the user manual, it confirms at the bottom of the device there are only the USB plug and the power button.
@three-phase562 Жыл бұрын
@@ozkarah Sorry my mistake, its the Mr Signal unit that has the 3.5mm jack. For the SG-004A you will need a USB C to RS485 adapter.

@@three-phase562 Thank you very much for the update. I will try to find and order a converter. I appreciate it if you could recommend and confirm any converter that works.

@@ozkarah I use converters from Advantech Adam range, the 4561 would be the unit for this, but they are very expensive. The only unit I know of that is a straight USB C to RS485 is from DTECH and is available on Amazon UK. All the others would require a USB C to USB A adapter. I have asked questions to Fnirsi support in the past and they do respond, but take 2 to 3 weeks. That could be another route for you to try. www.fnirsi.com.cn/contact

Can I use it to find data and clock signal of mobile phone cpu?
@three-phase562 Жыл бұрын
No I doubt it, it is very basic and slow in comparison to an oscilloscope and has no decoding functions. I believe Fnirsi do some scopes, but I have not used any of them.
