The real basic unit cost is still havent disclosed yet explicitly, maybe awaiting for the joint program to be fully finished, tested, and the vehicle is ready for field deployment

WOW... @ 3:06 inside the Kaplan MT .. Maybe the nicest I have ever seen. NOW... Sometimes that's not necessarily the best thing.. Iv seen many Spacious and hightech military vehicles that look like an absolute DREAM to be working in..unfortunately though in many cases the look is the best aspect. They break down, Have Weak Armor/defensive measures. Some of the ugliest, uncomfortable looking Tanks/APV'S happen to be almost impenetrable. Hopefully these ones have the best of both worlds... because they certainly look AMAZING! thanks for sharing!!

I don't think the Kaplan MT will perform too good. For a medium tank it has a huge profile. That could make it a potentially easy-to-hit target. Apart from this there is a reason why the classification of light/medium/heavy tanks made way for the MBT tank. But I am curious on what these tests will reveal.

Well I believe the medium tank is somewhat to fill the gap between MBT and IFV, it is suitable for direct fire platform where MBT can't like in hilly and jungles terrain like in Indonesia or Turkey, and I think it is more to combat assymatric warfare rather than conventional

Dunno what the gesture meant, but high hopes our country gets good quality Medium Tanks, be they the now Gen Dynamics M-8 "Buford", what was previously FMC-Vickers VFM Mk.5 or this FNSS-Pindad of our neighbor, Indonesian jointly manufactured Kaplan MT or the BAe Land Systems - Hagglunds CV 90105 or South Korean KF 21-105, both with CMI 105mm gun-cannons or true MBTs as Norinco of the P.R.of China's MBT-3000/VT-4 or evn their smaller VT-5 sibling or the Ukrainian T-84 Oplot. The latter 2 of wic our other neighbor, Thailand made the proper most choice in acquiring a mix of both types. We direly need good weaponry, be they tanks or fighter jets, naval vessels & in especially good enuf numbers, probably across a hundred or so units. The what's now termed as pre-owned fighter-jets of like UEA's inventory of tandem seat Dassault Mirage 2000-9 or Kuwaiti F/A-18Ds or Saudi's Panavia Tornadoes or evn the brand new Viper F-16F Block 60s from the US, brand new P.R.C.made LPD warship of the Yuzhao Class or surplus S.Korean Pohang Class Covettes or Ulsan Class Frigates, brand new high speed Indonesian Corvettes, Turkish made Frigates or Russian Gepard Class Frigates or high speed air-cushion effect ship such as the "Bora" Class all must be givn consideration.
