Chablis is looking like labor is close! From
the signs we are seeing we are expecting a foal in the next couple nights!!!
FOAL WATCH has begun here at the homestead! We are SO excited! The mares are getting closer to their dues dates and are starting to show a few signs, indicating that foaling may be near! In This video we go over due dates and who is due first. We hope you are as excited as we are to see these new foals and watch their impeding births.
Sioux is bred to Oliver, which will make their foal a cross draft.
Chablis, Rosie and Jessie are all bred to Bob and their foals will be registered Missouri Foxtrotters

Since the mare's name is "Chablis," which is a French wine, how about continuing the lineage aligned with French spirits. Here are a couple of suggestions: If a filly, "Chardonnay." If a colt, "Bordeaux." Regarding the possibility of airing the live feed to show the births would be nice to see. It's always beautiful to see new foals make their debut, take their first breath, and stand up.

Tuesday (12AM-11:55 PM)for the birthday and a filly for the gender. Name: anyone remember Ripple? They don’t make it anymore but back in the 70s us old folks drank it when we were young. It was pretty strong tasting (11% alcohol!) and was a red color which would fit the probable color of the foal.

I saw the foal moving..l don't know about horses but l know humans giving birth..(retired nurse).. that shaking bottom lip suggests start of a bit of labour pain.. the white wax was the same the night she had Rain..l don't think it will be long.. yes great to see a live when the foal is here then the edited birth later..Isaac better be a fast learner 😂😂..now for names..I'm going to have a think about that one..don't forget to ask people to like 👍 the videos..that helps your algorithm as it proves people are watching .also helps if we post comments too..🇬🇧💕🙏✝️👏👍🐎🇺🇸

Aww good luck Chablis! I was thinking about name suggestions relating to Chabis.... So Chablis wine comes from the Burgundy area of France and is produced from Chardonnay grapes. Chardonnay grapes are also known as Aubaine (pronounced Obayne), Beaunois (pronounced Bownowaz) and Melon Blanc (white melon). Looking forward to seeing Baby really soon!
