Thanks for sharing your knowledge and discoveries. This one caught my interest because of the crumpled aluminum foil that produced a leather finish on the foam in conjunction with the hot iron. My goal is to reproduce such a look on cinder block. Do you have any ideas as to how this might be accomplished? I wondered if it is possible to buy white foam in sheet form with the leather embossing already on at least one side. Can you recommend a source for this sheeting? Ideally, the thickness would be about a quarter inch (1/4") Thanks!
