If using heat, or torch, or jig saw, fumes.. fibers can be lethal. Regular face masks do not protect. I know someone who died of this, and I used to work with it in art projects. If I am viewing this correctly, this is like a styrofoam product and if so, beware (and don't think one project can't hurt).

Your right. I work with pink insulation foam board and it's the same with it. The chemicals released can cause cancer.

I am looking for a way to build a tree for a playroom. Is the foam durable enough for children to perhaps climb on? Or is there something to spray on it to harden the surface enough for a playroom? Thanks!
