Somebody needs to do a story on the Walterz in NW Calgary (essentially a sub-group of the KKK). It's a wealthy gang of white elitists in NW Calgary, based out of Varcity. Composed of mostly white older men (common denominator is the fact that most of them are conservatives, perverts, sex-offenders, racists and/or 3rd generation wealthy Calgarians). They "keep the streets clean" in the northwest by bullying and attacking the lower class members of otherwise predominantly white, wealthy christian communities. They specifically bully and attack liberals, immigrants, LGBQT, drug-users, artists, people of colour and the disabled

I was working for a funeral home when all this was going on. My job was to transport bodies. I had a pickup from the Medical Examiner’s this one time (won’t say when), which just so happened to be one of those guys (again, I won’t say who). Details I won’t share because of personal safety; still living in Calgary. Anyways, immediately after exiting the ME’s secure compound I had noticed that I was being followed. I was followed for the entire trip from A to B. To say I was nervous is an understatement! Don’t even think scared shitless lives up to how tense I was! Let’s just say, I drove EXACTLY the speed limit, full 3 sec stop at stop signs, wouldn’t ever dare risking a yellow light. Once I pulled into the secure compound of the destination, and feeling relieved enough to relax the tension, my body started shaking; took me a good 10 minutes to get my composure back. Unfortunate for you guys, fortunate for me, there’s nothing interesting beyond that. Life went on…for me at least.

a couple years ago, I was summoned to a jury duty selection in Calgary courts center, they were trying to select jury members for this case and this is where I saw Nick Chan ( I will never forget his hair style). I was in a big court room with about 400 people in there waiting for the judge to select the suitable jury, I never understand why they would have brought the convict into the jury selection room but he was there standing in the front area while the judge sit up front, he had two cops behind him and everyone whisper to others when they brought him in, I was surprised by his weird hair style. I never forget that day, we were advised to show up at 8am but the judge only arrives at 9:15. we sat there waited hours to be called in and talk to the judge individually, so the judge can interview to see if we fit to be the jury. I was frustrated because of the slow process and they didn't allow us to leave the court level because people could have been called upon on anytime, most of us were sitting up there and getting hungry (there is a cafeteria on the main level but we can't leave to get lunch). when the judge called me up and ask me if I want to be the jury I decline the offer with an excuse of English is not my first language, I remember the judge smirk at me and said he think my English is fine, I insisted that my English is not good enough and he didn't select me in the end. I will never forget this day because it was the day which show me how inefficient the court system work, In the beginning I was enthusiastic to participate as a citizen but the system turn me into an uncooperative person with the way they treated us potential jury.

Okay my turn to tell a story: Calgary 2008ish myself and 2 friends are walking home from a dt night club (I think maybe coyotes) at around 2 am when a brand-new black Mercedes benz pulled up and rolled down the tinted drivers side window, the driver casually asked. "You boys fob crew?" My two friends immediately piped out NO and unbeknownst to me the danger of this current situation I asked, " what's fob crew?" At that point something flipped in the man's casual demeanor as he said, " yes you are, I fucking knew it.' The man hastily hopped out of his car and walked quickly towards his trunk. Pause. Before I continue I want to clarify a few things. The man in the benz looked identical to Robbie Williams in the Millennium video. He was quite handsome. Also, my hair at this stage of my life ( late teens) had already starting to recede so I was doing crazy style to try and hide it and around this time I was doing some spiked up highlighted with red streaks and diagonal bangs going out at the front. As I watch this and see Nick Chan's hairstyle I realize what happened this fateful night; This motherfucker thought I was related to Nick Chan by proxy of my disgusting hairstyle trying to hide my balding forehead. Okay back to that night. The man in the Mercedes Benz hopped out of his car and quickly walked towards his trunk. What happened next is a blur but I remember looking towards my friends at this point seeing what they were going to do and they simultaneously yelled RUN and headed towards a near by park. This was a small inner city park, it had a few benches a patch of green space and some playground equipment at the other end. I followed my friends through the park, across and alley, hopping over a fence before hiding down in an apartment's entryway that was hidden from the street. My two friends were both breathing heavy, crouched down at the back corner of the entry way and looking vigilantly towards the road. What happened, I coughed out when I arrived out of breath and behind them. "He pulled out a sawed-off. " We ducked town in the apartment entry way for 20 more minutes before running to my apartment and finally arriving to safety. It was only today that I realize I almost got myself and my two friends killed that day because of my hairstyle's likeness to a local Calgary gangster's hairstyle... The worst part is I got that haircut from some slimy Cuban dude named Tony and paid him $40 plus tip.

@@Reddbeaver Cops in Calgary are criminals to the core. I got stabbed in the face last November after catching a methhead breaking into my neighbours truck. I tackled him, in front of the cops, who watched me get stabbed. Then the cops came up to me and said " I'm not charging him because you tackled him instead of going inside" The cop then tried to sweep it under the rug as 3 weeks later when a rookie showed up to take a report for the break and enter. Was shocked to learn I had been stabbed. The cops who were there. Tried to hide the incident because the methhead is an informant for them. Since then, they have been following me my family and friends around. Staring at us. fingering me, even had one gesture the cut throat sign to me. All because I'm exposing what they did and refuse to do.

I remember this gang war, it's still somewhat going on and every New Years you were almost guaranteed a murder in Calgary in the early 2000's linked to these gangs.
