Even if they called, do you really think the police in Commiefornia are going to care about fireworks? The caller would be snickered at & told to check their privilege. Better yet, even if you can get the police to respond, some liberal prosecutor will just toss the case in the interest of justice because the courts are too backlogged.

I LOATHE fireworks. Oh for the old days when my parents would give us a sparkler. The huge amount of money spent for 15-30 mins that could be used to build housing, to help the homeless, and NOT frighten our wildlife, or even our pets who are safe. I remember seeing a clip on youtube years ago and I think it was 4th July and this particular US town found hundreds and hundreds of birds dead on the ground. Birds have heart attacks easily. But ALL the wildlife have no clue what is going on but they also have a significantly more sensitive hearing. It is mindless - like many of human pursuits.

We have people setting off illegal fireworks in our area all too frequently and I worry about what they may do to the animals, both domestic and wild. We keep hearing that law enforcement is doing what it can to stop it but so far, they haven't done anything in my neighborhood. I'm glad to see that Jackie and Shadow are okay. I have six pets and I try so very hard to mask the sound of fireworks with fans, loud television, air conditioner...etc. I just wish people would consider how they affect neighbors and wild animals...birds... I saw a 2023 video of the beautiful falcon couple🪶, Diamond and Xavier in Australia, when poor Diamond was so spooked by illegal fireworks that she was hurling herself against the walls of their nest box 😭😱 She was so scared 😵 There's a reason why fireworks are illegal in some areas and I wish more people would respect that.

I have to tell you, I was deeply depressed a few years ago. I watched this new to me You Tube channel that followed eagles Jackie and Shadow. It made me smile and giggle at a time that I thought I never would again. My granddaughter would ask "Are you watching those eagles again" She did not know how much it meant to me to spend time enjoying them. One of my favorite memories is the 4th of July. I could not bring myself to go to the town fireworks and later I checked FOBBV channel. There in the background was fireworks!! They were beautiful, loud and marvelous. I felt happy and I enjoyed it to tears. I always thank FOBBV and Cali every time I comment, and this 4th of July explains why. Jackie and Shadow brought me smiles, giggles, laughter, the joy of other viewers and their thoughts, and FIREWORKS when I needed them desperately. Hello there. Please make sure to follow the timestamps at the bottom of the video for accurate information. Jackie and Shadow were on the RT before the fireworks (check my previous video) on 12/31. You can hear their chortles and wing flaps with the onset of fireworks and the RT was empty in the morning of 1/1. Jackie only came back in the evening of 1/2, not the next morning. Hope this helps.

Illegal means absolutely nothing to most Americans cUse all they truly care about is partying and doing the fireworks and also injuring themselves in the process too. But what I’m not getting and I guess I never will is, fireworks are absolutely illegal but yet, people still are allowed to have access to them and people are still allowed to legally sell them too and no one does a thing about that. I feel that maybe people need to be given a hearty fine to pay every time they have possession of fireworks in their possession or on their property and see how they would like having to pay that fine every single time they set off fireworks. I think the laws need to be much stronger or more stricter. It’s also with our waters too where people who fish just throw their lines in the waters and hooks right along with the lines too and birds like the Eagles get them and can get a lot of serious injury or even the inevitable too. They were in their roost tree which is near the nest before the fireworks. We saw them at dusk perched there. The second the booms start you can hear the eagles were disturbed and flew away. They stayed gone and didn't return until today, despite it getting close to time for Jackie to lay her eggs. See the video from FOBBV just posted today.
