Great video. Eraned a sub! Just got my feet wet with the Elegia. My first Focal. I love the detail and clarity. So far really liking them. Still in the honeymoon phase. Made some EQ adjustments and they got even better. Personally love the look of the Stellia and will be upgrading eventually. I was also debating about the clears, but went with the Arya as my main open back.

Seems ever reviews likes the ZMF Verite closed better but the stellia is so much better looking.

I have to ask this question after my local dealer allowed me to borrow the Meze Emphyreans for 4 days, are the Utopias, Stellias or Emphyrean the better headphone or are we just talking different sound signature because I was totally blown away by the Emphyrean. I have never heard any of the Focal line, but I have heard the ZMF Verite another crowd pleaser. The Emphyrean have the bass response of a closed back headphones when called upon. The Emphyreans are as comfortable as you said and they sound like an excellent pair of speakers on your head.

How good match is it with Hugo2? Or if you compare hugo2 with Ifi idsd pro, wich one performe better with Stellia? Do you think Hugo2 is good enought for Stellia or does it need an even higher end dac/amp?

@@BloomAudio thanks for answer. I have hugo2 too and i also know you can drive Stellia with a phone. I dont have any hi end headphone in the price range 3000$ so should i bee worried that the hugo2 is the weakest link in the setup? As you know hugo2 is really good for most headphones but when i planning to move up to hi end headphones i am a bit afraid i need to upgrade hugo2 too 😄😄. Thansk for great review.

Hello everyone! Please help me. 2 months ago I bought Denon 7200 and astell&kern kann alpha. Mostly I listening deep house music. I expected from this combination something much better and because I didn't like the bass quality in music I will give that denon to my young brother as a present. So the question is, what are the best top headphones to listen mostly deep house music? I plan listen music on my astell&kern kann alpha. Guy from the shop highly advised Focal Stelia. Is this combination is really good or I need to buy something else? Thanks in advance for any support

The 820 was bit of a flop, didnt find a single person blown away by them. Everybody says they are very good but nothing truly special.

Sounds incredible. Have a Utopia, can't work with those on. In order to truly appreciate it, the most dynamic music, and your full attention is required. Oddly, they still make great movie cans.. especially combined with Dolby Atmos for Headphones. So easy to power too. I can't see the Stellia being great for travel/commuting... but perhaps travelling from one room to another to curl up in a couch without bothering your SO... I can see that. Almost makes me want to exchange my Utopia for one. Good review, mic volume a bit low. Cheers

Great the best fucking cans for outdoor hifi vibing note we all know open back is better sure closed back is getting better but it will never give the same feel as open back having a quality closed back tho if it makes my £215 sonys sound like crap so be it definitely be getting the diable dac amp ifi tho

Serious headphones? If I saw those I would think they are a gaming headset. They look so gimmicky. I like nothing about them apart from the headband. Then again, I’m a retro man, so perhaps that’s why. I honestly can’t see the beauty in that design though.

I need these I like my audio but i wish I could hear more of the instruments the vocals are already clear enough on my sony wh-1000xm4 using a dac amp helm dongle but I would like to put more focus on bringing out the instruments when vibing outside

@@jonathanoxlade4252 woah, that’s quite a jump from the Sony. I haven’t listened to these but I’ve read good things, so you should be able to hear the instruments with them... I mean, for that price, you’d better...
