Focal, what do you have with the design? The Chorus 800 of the available ones was the most beautiful and well-made. The Chora 800 resembles the chorus 700 in quality. Aria is far from the 900 series of old models and as it turned out worse than the chorus 800.

For two channel high end stereo, the Sopra #3 speakers are fantastic. For home theater, the Kanta line you demoed in this video are quite good. Of course the Grand Utopia is Audiophile heaven. Their 40th anniversary Spectra are an awesome bang for your buck for high end audio. You hit it out of the park with this one Zak. You have just introduced to your youtube audience to the pinnacle of High end speakers. Thank you Zak, awesome job.

Don't spoil the "fun" for "normal people" :-) They want to hear all the sound they payed for - including all those primary & secondary reflections & room modes !!! Right !!??? Why on earth would you want to "rob" people of all the sound they payed for by installing "off the shelf" or worse still properly designed first reflection absorbers & maybe even tuned resonators ( aka Helmholtz ) to deal with specific room mode resonances - unique to each room. That would actually make sense & deliver a higher level of fidelity. That's BAD !!! You need people to think !!! Now that's very hard & against the oligarch's agenda.... It's harder to sell 2 high quality speakers than 12 mediocre ones.... just add Dodgy(TM) EQ & sell them more speakers than they know what to do with :-) LOL

i happen to hear them today at a dealer. they are crazy sounding, and the sheer size of them is incredible. we then played some Klipsh horn speakers right after, and at $16K a pair, I actually thought they sounded better. money doesn't always equal great sound -makes it crazy tough as a noob buyer like myself.

I believe when u run atmos the surrounds can't be placed high so there is no confusion with the height sound effects
