Thats how Germans work. Always precise and accurate. They dont like dealing with coincidences but they like to marshall their own affairs. And thats what you get in Steidten. He is known for his hardwork and delligence. Those of you moaning about the Kilman transfer fee,for Christ sake just wait,relax and give the bloke a chance. I think he is a decent CB and he will just get better. I firmly believe West Ham will make him a national team Player for the three Lions. This year Mavropanos and Cornet will blossom under Lopetegui i have a strong feeling

I'm happy at having Kilman come in, his stats were better than he may have appeared under O'Neil. He was certainly better the year before under Lopetegui. With all the behind the scenes things affecting the price I can see why Wolves set 40mil. It certainly is a lot but cb's can have a longer career and hold their value longer. Pepe being the extreme example. I doubt we handed over a suitcase full of cash, probably a structured payment plan over the 5 years; perhaps three to help Wolves' financial position. Steident isn't a fool, and neither is Lopetegui. They wouldn't pursue Kilman and pay the price if they didn't think he was worth it. Having KWP come in would be good. I'm left wondering where/if Zouma and Aguerd will go?

The problem with the striker targets, is that now we have WASTED40 million, just so effing Lopetegui have have his main target ...there is now limited funds to get a top class striker ....coming soon to West ham...30 year old journeyman with history of injuries, or that striker on a free ....free because he just doesn't sc9re goals !!!

Just hang up your I know best boots for a day and try and see the positive side - he is not Virgil van Dyke and yes, 40 million is overpriced but that is what wolves wanted and he is a proven quality Premier League defender who is in his prime, homegrown and the number one choice to start a new era with a new manager - we may well still go and get a top quality striker so you don’t know that yet - and besides, every Premier League club wants a top quality striker and we do not have the benefit of being in Europe to add as the attractive option so that is a difficult position to fill
