That will never have happened at West ham if moyes was to be around. He will play kudus and paquetta out of position just to facilitate his wet dream of Soucek,JWP and Kalvin Philips. Zouma with his weak knees would still have being playing here as captain. These new players would never have come to West Ham. I don't know why we haven't gone in for Arnau Martinez from Girona . 21 years old in the last year of his contract and is a cross between KWP and AWB . Also heard he has a 20 million release clause (Gonzo from hammers chat . not sure if it's pounds or euros) but as he's in the last year of his contract we might get him for cheaper than that plus his wages will be far less than who we have been linked with so far.....COYI ⚒️

Zouma will be lucky to still be able to walk in ten years time if he doesn't look after his knees. Couple of seasons in a warmer, dryer climate might help. Not to mention a bit of a retirement nest egg. Bowen would be a decent shout for captain. West Ham do have a history of long term captains and players committed to the club. Moore, Bonds, Dicks & Noble to name a few. Alvarez would be good but he might not be around long now. Kilman might have had a shout given his history with Lopetegui but Wolves fans weren't that blown away with him as captain and some thought his game suffered when he was captain. Once again, I'm glad I don't have to make the decision.

Whoever was his favourite could be utter shite and still make it into the starting XI - Lopetegui is more practical and seems to value talent over emotional connection.
