Yes it's worth it...!!! 108 hp in top of the stock 252hp???? you got that right is worth it to spend the $2.000 360hp???? 10 hp more than the Ford Focus RS. And still the Ford Focus ST is $14.000 to $15.000 cheaper just add $2.000 and you got a beast and still cheaper than the RS and faster!!!!
@ryankinney37526 жыл бұрын
Wilfred Diaz this gives it 360 at the wheels, the RS has 350 at the crank which is about 300-310 at wheels. So this is making about 50 more hp than RS

I am running a Quafie diff. and Michelin Pilot Super Sports and I can roast both tires in first gear under hard acceleration. It also has an unbelievable amount to torque steer making it very difficult to redline and shift while keeping it straight.. Just watching the video I can tell it does not have that much power. Don't believe everything that you are told.

Steve Silverado what is a tune
@stevepaolucci9047 жыл бұрын
Engine tuning is an adjustment, modification of the internal combustion engine, or modification to its control unit, otherwise known as its ECU (Engine Control Unit). It is adjusted to yield optimal performance, to increase an engine's power output, economy, or durability. These goals may be mutually exclusive, and an engine may be detuned with respect to output (work) in exchange for better economy or longer engine life due to lessened stress on engine components. That was the Wikipedia definition, but as far as a turbo motor goes a tune increases the boost (psi) above stock and usually increases ignition timing as well which results in more horsepower and torque.

I have a question though, i have a big intercooler and ended up removing the active grill shudders just like this car, does this guy have any issues with CEL on the dash? Mine will periodically throw a code (obviously trying to activate the shudders that aren’t there)

For the money... An ST car is a lot cheaper and fun car than anything else at the same price point. I love hearing that turbo over any muscle car and i love the look over the GTI and WRX. And is much cheaper to work on.

It is a 2000 dollar upgrade however, keep in mind you must be stage 3 in order to do this. So technically it is between 4-5k (total) to get to this power level depending on brand of parts you buy. I just recently got a 2867 gen 2 and of course had to buy an exhale kit and bov. I’m still in the tuning process yet but I can’t wait until it’s finally tuned.

I put a stick on my STs window that says "Tuned By Billy". his is at 4:14 . its faster than a 911 GT3 quad turbo, way faster, like twice as fast 0-155mpg

It sucks that ford discontinued the ST and RS model of the focus up here in Canada. Not sure why did that, but both seem to be popularly accepted by many manual transmission car enthusiasts. It gave us an American alternative to the Japanese counterparts in its class and model.

Man i raced one of these last night on my way home from DC on I95 and i remember thinking the same thing about his BOV, it was loud AF but i liked it tbh suits the car, theyre pretty fast too we were neck and neck from a 4th gear pull at 60 to 110 before i redlined and called it, super handsome car though Not sure if it was stock as well. Ftw I have a 2007 civic Si coupe.

Hello my friend, I saw your video and it is the same thing that I want to do to my Focus St, but before doing so I want to ask you some questions: what does your car have to have so that the turbo GTX2867R can work normally? Did you do the new programming inside the cobb? Did you change suspension or brakes or gas pump

I just bought a 2013 new to me. Wish me luck. Hopefully it's a good one. I'm not sure I want to mod it yet but I know I will. I'm 37 but I'm a kid at heart. I just gave my son my old hatchback and I figured I'd try something else and I always wanted one of these.

Jason Miller that's why you maintain it...do oil changes and cam follower regularly without beating the absolute piss out of it and you will be ok. I'd take my mk6 golf R over an st any day. I can hit those numbers on a stock turbo easily.
@JTube5717 жыл бұрын
Maintenance won't do anything for crappy OEM parts. Former Mk5 Gti owner and after 3 thermostats failed, 2 intake manifolds failed, and the car started getting electrical gremlins that couldn't be tracked down (all before 50k miles and all work was done by a dealer) I ditched that thing. Great car when it worked perfect, which wasn't very often. And I am most definitely not alone on that.

When I had one in 2014, I had to lol at people when they talked about how these broke the tires loose in first and second gear stock. Mine never did with 265 hp/300 tq stg2, 91 octane, on all season tires too. Usually the all seasons spin all day in more powerful V6/V8's.

Luna Tuna that's a big price gap though, my car cost me 21k new and I pieced together parts to make my car "stage 3" for $1800 then the turbo was $2,000 not including tuning.
