I Bought A Ranger Raptor to Replace My Ford Maverick

I had the same concern as you when I bought my Ranger Raptor with all of the fancy components and electronics on the truck, so I paid just a little bit extra and got the 6yr extended bumper to bumper warranty. If anything goes wrong with it, I'm covered for 6 years, and I will be selling it right before the extended bumper to bumper warranty expires and then buy something else new and then start the whole process over again.👍

With unfortunately Ford reliability. Consumer reports all over, similar issues to the Broncos. They're so rad I hope yours holds up!

Glad you're liking it so far. I went the opposite direction you did. I went from an F150 Raptor to the Ranger Raptor. Though the F150 Raptor certainly had the cool factor...it was an expensive truck to own and is just too big for where i live. With the RR i cut the costs down a bit ($200+/month) and keep the fun factor. I had great buying experience. Called my favorite local dealership, put a no obligation order in in June and the truck came in December! No deposit, no dealership doc fees, NO MARK UP! I will say though for the first week i was regretting my decision of trading in my F150 Raptor but that has gone away completely and I am so happy with my decision! Congrats!

Congratulations, ordered mine the day order banks were open. Got it in April and just turned 15,000 miles. Very capable truck. Hell's revenge certified two weeks of ownership 😅. Stupid I know but it was fun as he'll. Wife didn't like it as much as I did

I got mine in shelter green at the end of October. As a Tacoma owner I was most surprised by the ride quality. I didn’t realize how bad the Tacoma ride is lol.

Congrats on the RR bought mine 6 months ago and love it. Also, just a heads up for way better stock sound system sound in the RR go into settings on the main digital screen and turn on the (Surround Sound) option then kick up bass and treble levels doing that makes a huge improvement.

Congrats on the new truck. My brother bought one in October. He optioned a powered bed cover which took the price to AUD$97000. Roughly USD$60000. Not cheap by any definition. He's getting 11L/100Km which is about 21mpg. He's done a bit over 3000Km which is 1900 miles. He's very happy with it.

Been thinking about a Ranger Raptor as a VB Maverick Lariat FX4 owner over the past 3 years. This is not the right video for my bank account. 😁 The RR doesnt get the 3 lights up front because they're not required by law due to their narrower width. But Ford did leave cutouts for them.

I want a RR, but I don't need one. I can deal with the fuel economy, but it's maintenance costs I am concerned with. Found out with my '21 Lariat Tremor...shocks have to be sent off to Fox for rebuild. 40k miles is the upper limit of them. I assume the RR would be similar. Might just go with another Lariat with the 2.7.

This might be fords smartest marketing move yet because once you get bit by the truck bug the only solution is a super duty. You’ll never feel like it’s enough until you get a full size HD truck. If you think that thing is capable wait until you hear about an f150 or 250 lol

Simple fix, when you buy it just pay a little bit extra and get an extended bumper to bumper warranty that works for how long you plan on keeping the truck.✌

could have fooled me they both look identical now since they redesigned the front end of the ranger to make it literally look as boring n bland as every other ford truck now....
