I see my problems, my headphone wire has a built-in mic. I used another cable to extract it, it still effects my audio output, I can only use the volume controls on the Irig for outputs, not the big volume knob on Focusrite, but I know for sure my mic came from Focusrite. Thank you for this tutorial, it is really helpful!

Hi! Could you please do this same video, however instead of an iRig, it's a second audio interface? I'm struggling with two interfaces to get stereo sound - it's fine if I just want to record into GarageBand (comes through as stereo) but I want to record videos using the audio from my DAW & live voice/instruments and the camera app only records a hard left pan. It's the same in Voice Memo app. I've watched a few of your videos, tried a few things and I'm glad to be finally getting the audio into the phone, however the last thing is just getting that stereo sound. I think the issue might be that I'm not taking stereo from the first interface (that's connected to my laptop) into the second (connect via USB to the iPhone 15 Pro). So I will try that today, and hopefully report back that it was successful :) Thanks so much for your time and energy recording these videos, you are doing an incredible and much needed service!! I can't believe how popular live-streaming/video content is for musicians, and yet there seem to be so few tutorials!! K

Hello! Is it possible connecting the interface (2i2 4th gen) to macbook and iphone w/o using irig? Or can I use the irig2 version on this type of set up? Can you do live streaming apps and fb live thru this type of set up? I also tried doing fb live thru mac/laptop, but when I watched the live stream, no sound effect from ableton, no adudio from YT and the sound is flat (voice only coming from the mic? May I know how to resolve it? Thank you😊

Focusrite and irig stream is a same product?? What is the benefits of irig when we already having a audio interface.. Please guide😊

They are different Focusrite is an audio interface you can use for recording/streaming which you can use a DAW for vocal effects. iRig is connecting an audio source to a device for streaming/recording. So audio from the focusrite is connected to a device using an iRig. If you have the right adapter (other than an iRig) to connect to your device works too for recording/streaming.

Will you be using focusrite then audacity? I have not tried it but I will try. Most likely for Recording set up only coz I don’t have a pug in for live streaming set up.

There’s a lot out there but make sure it’s compatible with your device. Coz i bought usb c to splitter mic & headphone, I had to return as it was not working coz it was not the right one.

I got Arturia Mini Fuse 2 with Ableton Live Lite free along...is AB Live ? Expensive ...how far its different from Lite version?

I can’t really answer that question as I’m also using the AB live lite free version comes in the package when I got my focusrite.

I don’t have a dj mixer so I can’t really confirm. Since there are different kinds of dj mixers, from your dj mixer audio out connect to aux in or music in port of the maono so all the effects/audio from dj mixer will go in to the maono then connect your phone From the live port of the maono from streaming.

I don’t have an iRig 2 but I think it’ll work, you just have to get the right lightning/usb c adapter to connect to your phone.

Yes. Driver type: MME/DirectX then Audio Input and Output as the F998 (name could be mvsilicon B1 usb).

Yes. If you want to use the effects from this set up only- just choose None on the Starmaker effects. If you want to combine effects from this set up and in Starmaker - choose Customized.

Most likely it’s the adapter to your phone issue. Even if you follow everything but don’t have the right adapter, it’s not gonna work. Are you using to Android or iPhone? If you’re using usb c or lighting to 3.5 mm, I got mine from Apple Store. Don’t know yet what other brand works.
