I gotta imagine that quite a bit of the reason they’re so expensive is that they make them in Brooklyn. It’s mad expensive to live there.

does the part of the body that touches the neck get in the way when you're playing the upper frets?

Will a $13K bass make me broke? No, but put it in my hands. It will def make that financial status a hell of a lot easier.

I thought for sure you were exaggerating when you said thirteen thousand dollars.

I didn't believe it until I owned one. A $10k bass dissappears in your hand and there's only your ears and the music. It doesn't fight with you. Don't break the bank for one, but if its on reach...
@v33punk6 жыл бұрын
"Put it in your hands" is not an explanation of how a $13,000 bass will make you a better player.

It is unfathomable to me that Marc would wear big heavy rings like that when handling a new bass that is for sale. The person who bought this bass from CME received it with several dings in it, most likely from those very rings. (see 1:10, 1:22) By contrast, the people at Bass San Diego who unpack, handle, and pack basses are not allowed to wear rings, watches, buckles, zippers, etc. when handling instruments. Their buyers (like me) receive undamaged instruments.

I played my first Fodera the other day. Had to take my jacket and belt off. 😂. I don’t wear jewelry but I bet they’d take that too.
