Excellent guide, thank you. I'm level 40 and all these quests are available to me. Since hitting Calpheon I've been running every quest I find, I'm sure it's that which makes the dailies available.

That happened to me at launch because they changed the default quest setting to hide most quests (was not like that during beta). Look for the option to turn all quests on. It's a small button with 5 little circles in it, if I remember right.

Very common problem. It's been answered several times in the comments below, but the short answer is you need to enable ALL quests. Most are turned off by default.

Wish if people had a guide for the kill contribution quests or the item contribution quest from the kills. Manshas/Rhutums and several different for Catfish, Monastery and Hexe and then at Sausans and Mediah other mobs.

Loved the video doing the quests. Advise having ALL quests turn on or some quests will not be active. My issue is that after doing ALL the quest following very closely the video clip I only ended up with 6 contribution points... which leads me to believe U have to be level 50 to get the amount of contribution u claim we can earn. I am level 40. Nevertheless look forward to repeat some of these in the future. Do U have a character level 40 that can show us how to get more contribution points? Not sure why I only got 6 as it seems pretty low for everything I dd.

Thanks for your comment. Glad you like the video. The experience for contribution scales to require more and more experience per point level. The higher your point total, the more experience it takes to get points. We did find what seemed to be a soft cap after which points were very very very hard to get, like one per week or something crazy. Honestly I don't remember what that number was. If I had to guess I'd say 70. I have not played BDO in over a year. FoE does not tend to play MMO's more than a year or two after launch. So no, I don't have a level 40 character. Sorry.

Hmm the chimney quests weren't there for me the next day. But the other quests were. Maybe they have different reset times?

+Kevin YES they do! All the quests reset each day normally (around 8pm EDT). BUT the chimney quests reset after an in game night has past, AFTER the 8pm reset. So, it's between 8pm and midnight EDT. Recently figured this out.

Are you saying you've never done them and they are not available, or are you saying they are not available for the current day? As mentioned in previous replies to comments, the chimney quests refresh slightly different than the other quests, usually a few hours after the others come available.

It's possible. I don't play BDO anymore so I couldn't tell you. If you reinstalled or reset your GUI in some way it may have reset your quest preferences. Read description for info on the most common problem people have with these quests.

Most likely these are grab and go quests that take him seconds to a minute to do since they're all right by each other along with the objectives. A lot of quest have you going all over the place and for this to be as time effective as it is he most likely just took the ones that were simple yet rewarding and time effective.

Yes. This video is of quests with no prerequisites. As you unlock more quests you can add them to the routine. I don't play BDO anymore (sorry, too much PTW for me), so I never took it that far.

You need to turn on ALL quests. By default most quests are hidden (silly programmers). There is a button on the right side of your screen to adjust the quest filter.

I am lv 50, and i did almost all quests in calpheon, noone of this daily quests on the video were available to me, i watched on 2nd monitor and followed every step. Maybe i need to complete ALL the quests in calpheon first, not sure :\ Good guide anyway =)

+Theberusko you MUST enable all quests in the quest window on the right side of your screen. By default Daum turned this off in NA. It's the little button with a circle in the middle and 4 circles around it. Very subtle.

+LegendKenshin Level is required. I'm not sure the exact number, but it's around lvl 40. Alts cannot do this if you've done them on your main. However, I found that alts CAN do parts of the quest if your main picks it up. For example, I keep an alt at the library for resetting mob knowledge. If I pick up the moonpearl quest at the wrong time of day, I can finish it with my alt later.

+Brandon Sams there are none, other than level. I think the magic number is between lvl 40 and 50. HOWEVER, make sure you turn on ALL quests in your quest window. By default these are turned off and you will not see them. NPC's won't even talk to you about the quests unless you turn on their quest types.

The chimney quests have a slightly different timer, they go by hours not days. So if you get the timing down you can do them all daily.

That's actually pretty good. You gain 1300 contribution experience not contribution points. The more points you have, the slower you will gain points. There is a soft cap after which you'll gain almost no points. I haven't played BDO for a while now, but I thought the soft cap used to be around 170 points. It may be changing as new expansions come out.

I was level 40 n had no problem getting any of the quests however I only got 6 contribution points overall .. Make sure u have ALL quests turn on to get the to be active. Planning on doing it again despite the disappointing show of contribution .. Very well explained..
