Noted some changes in the mini-game Tasks that are different from those listed on City 1 at 1:27 in the video. Tasks #36, 37, and 38 are now "Collect 16 Quadrillion Shamrocks", "Upgrade Buildings 250 times", and "Upgrade your Fireworks Factory to Level 75". Just about finished with City 1. All the other Tasks for City 1 seem to track as posted.

3:50 "complete at least 4 towns and buy a complete set of rewards [after each of them]". I think this is incorrect. This strategy was viable in the first two St Patrick's events in previous years, because you got an additional level of the main event building if you bought all six reward prizes after completing a town. For last year and this year's event though, you get a DIFFERENT bonus building if you buy all six rewards after a town. The 2x2 Celtic Glassworks bonus building is quite nice, but it doesn't help you get your Celtic Tavern to max level. According to the beta forums, you needed to reach 200 progress on the Grand Prize list to get a complete (level 7) Celtic Tavern. (I did not play on Beta, I can't verify.) Since you can affordably complete about 31-32 tasks per town (the remaining tasks are too expensive or take too long), this means that you need to complete the first mini-town (you can finish 11 tasks very cheaply), plus six full towns, plus at least get part of the way into another town to reach 200 progress. (You may want to aim for completing many more towns if you have the time of course, to try finish in the Silver or Gold League.)

Thank you for your feedback. Different to all my other videos this one was mainly based on information that I received from other beta players. I had little access to the game as during the event I was in a hospital. I was very close to not publishing a video this time. I am still very handicapped. Let’s hope many read additional information.

I think we may need to wait for other youtuber videos to get clarification (hopefully before the event starts). The Fandom Wiki has not been updated yet and will likely not have enough useful info for another week (my guess). I hope you recover soon and get back into good enough shape to at least have some fun playing the St Patrick's event when it comes out!

@@FoEhints The Fandom Wiki has been updated - or rather, I found the correct page now for the 2024 event (there are two, one is blank). Their info also shows 200 Progress required for the main building. It may always change from how it was in Beta though, of course.

Yes, the 2023 Fellowship event used the same minigame (with different names and graphics) as the St Patrick's Day event. The 2022 Fellowship event had very different minigame mechanics though. Also, once you find the right guide for the town minigame, it's very easy. It's all about figuring out which tasks to NOT complete, and how high you should upgrade all the various managers in each town. Then just visit your town occasionally to ensure that it is ticking over like well-oiled clockwork - it's a thing of beauty! 😁

You do NOT need 1800 pot before starting the next city. 800 should be enough, even slightly less. After a city you should open ONLY the free chest. None of the chests includes any upgrade for main building. Not even the bonus proze for opening the whole set. You should open boxes with pot ONLY IF you don't have the time to use the pot on as many cities as possible to buy managers. In this case buy chests because it the only place you can use the pot you have.

Agreed. On average it costs about 700 Pots to get your managers high enough level to complete each town (in a day or so), although the costs vary slightly between the three towns. 800 Pots is enough for sure. (The very first town is meant to be a tutorial and can be finished very quickly with a few level 1 managers and far less Pots of Gold.) Also, saving up 1800 Pots before the next town implies that you are going to spend 1400 Pots to buy all the rewards after the first town. This is POSSIBLE to do safely, especially if you gain extra Pots from the two Challenge events, but ... I think FoE Hints is assuming that you only need to spend your Pots to complete 4-5 towns as in previous years. This time around, I think you need to complete at least seven towns and get part-way through an eighth town to get enough progress for a fully leveled main building (Celtic Tavern). That assumes about 31 completed tasks per town - if you do it differently and complete fewer tasks, you may need to complete more towns. In any case, players should budget more Pots for managers in more towns than in previous years, and fewer Pots should be allocated to buying rewards after completing the towns. In addition, anyone who wants to try finish in Silver (or possibly Gold) League should definitely try to complete as many towns as possible (16+), and avoid spending Pots on prizes after towns. In that case, you will need a LOT of Pots for the managers in so many towns. (Gold League will likely require completing 19+ towns AND most of both Challenge events.)

@@davidbarry6900 Thanks for the info, sounds like good advice as last year I aimed for the Gold League and that was pretty much the way to do it cheap: only free boxes, and everything into pots. Quick question, do we info on what will be the rewards for the leagues? Because unless the building in Gold is some god-tier levels of over powered, I'll probably play this one 100% diamond-free due to how much time you need to spend in the game to reach anything above 11-13 towns, let alone get close to 20 ;)

@@MrQwertyman111 Re Gold League prizes, I did not find any clear info on the bonus rewards - I expect a gold level for the Celtic Tavern to save you time though. The Silver and Gold League rewards will likely also include a Gold and Platinum level for last year's Druid Hut, and an Epic St Pat's selection kit (i.e. a Druid Hut level). The MAIN League reward prize is the 3x3 "Apothecary of the Highlands", which is quite good and comes in 3 versions (no road required). Bronze League gives L1, Silver gives level 2, and Gold gives a level 3 version. All three versions give 30fp, attack and defense combat boosts, and 40+ Goods - the level 3 version gives more combat boosts and +10 more Goods, but they are otherwise quite similar. All three versions also give fragments of a Celtic Tavern selection kit (150 required): 5 at level 1, 10 at level 2, and 20 at level 3. It works out as needing 7 months (210 days) to get a L7 Tavern from a L1 Apothecary, while if you get a L3 from Gold League, you'll get a new Tavern every 2 months (63 days) or so. I think this design of the League reward building (available for Bronze and up) is much more friendly and accessible to more players, and there is much less pressure to go for the Gold League version. FYI, I think I completed 19 towns last year - although I think I bought some pots for the managers in the last towns. This year, the Mini Challenges ALSO count for league progress, so you have to be able to complete GE level 4 in two days (on top of the event town grind) to stand a chance of reaching Gold League. The mini challenges can give you a bunch of extra Pots, useful for doing more towns. That said, this is one of the few events where it is POSSIBLE to finish in Gold without spending diamonds. Not really necessary though, fortunately.

I never liked this format you cannot complete enough. I may grab a few freebies here and there but no attempt to complete it. I like the football or soccer things better, maybe even the frogs hopping on lily pads, not this contrived thing though.
