0:35 that's a logical fallacy. The legionnaires wouldn't try to stab the tank. They'd preemptively dug out below the tanks so their own weight hinders them. Then, once immobilized, they'd rush the tanks from their hiding holes and pick the tracks apart to make sure they remain unable to move, making it easier to avoid the main cannon. Then it's a simple matter of infiltrating the tank and taking out the crew inside (made easier if the crew is stupid and tries to get out and repel the legionnaires). After all, what is a tank without a crew? A miserable husk of metal ripe for reverse engineering, which is something the romans were notorious for

Ah, yes, dig out from under a tank whose original purpose was to go over uneven and unfavorable terrain and pick out the tracks. You know, the same tracks held in by massive tight fitting pins requiring tools to remove and are held together by the weight of the tank itself.

I'd say the main concern would be the infantry _supporting_ the tank. The tank crew itself has not the best overview of its surroundings, and you never know from which crazy direction an enemy soldier might be coming from.

dont think that statement applies to civ3, the chance is insanely slim of the spearman surviving 1 tank, let alone multiple, and theres no stack wiping civ1 on the other hand has a bit of a higher chance due to the insane stackable defense bonuses and RNG playing even more of a role, alternatively if the AI attacks your stack and wins, the stack is wiped, no matter its size

Morbizor said in a video that he was told by the dev team that they didn’t spend to much time on the UI. Which is fine. I mean, it’s ONLY THE THING WE PLAYERS USE TO INTERACT WITH YOUR GAME, so it’s not a big deal. Just throw anything out there. I sure the modders will fix everything. Eventually. Again.

In real life modern combat, ground troops can take out a tank. Tanks always have an escort and guards. Some methods used: blowing the tracks off, jamming explosives in the turret raceway, jamming explosives or flammable liquids down the exhaust vent, throwing rocks or rubble inside of the road wheels and/or drive sprocket, dumping flammable liquids inside of the main gun mantlet, destroying sensors / blocking viewing ports
