Hi! I would just want to say that to learn to do a different voice (even if it's far from your original one) should absolutely not affect your original voice at all. If it does you are probably doing something severely wrong (straining your voice, going past pain). You _can_ lose your original voice if you stop using it all together in favor of the new voice for an extended period of time, but assuming you still use it for your day to day this isn't going to be a problem. Not to say this isn't a great tool, it seems pretty good! Voice training takes a lot of time and this seems like a great alternative, good tool, good video.

Solid video! One thing I might add is that on top of chunk size, you can also increase "extra" to smoothen out the audio to get it sounding more natural at smaller chunk sizes as well as increasing crossfade to the max. If you're gaming and streaming, it might be tough, but for discord or talking apps, you can crank those up. With my laptop's 2070 super, I was able to squeeze out relatively comprehensible audio at a chunk size of 40 with extra set to 131k, though that was isolated to speech only and no gaming/streaming.

I have a problem where I have Radeon RX6500 graphics card but when I load the programm it doesn't detect my gpu instead is shows cpu and gpu0 gpu1 gpu2 gpu3 gpu4 for some reason normally there must be a name for that it said to set value of video card to - 1 and than back to 0 but how do I do that and where?

i don't want a specific person's voice, i just want to lower the pitch of my voice without it sounding weird like it usually does when you lower it. Voicemod's (good lord) Trauma Medic effect was perfect, minus the fact that it made my mic sound like absolute garbage. still struggling to figure out what to use for that. :-(

Use clownfish, slightly lower the tone of your natural voice, and then work on talking more manly irl. It sounds the most natural that way. You just need to get used to talking like a cartoon irl lol

Very cool guide and fun software to use. Discord's audio compression doesn't seem to play nice with RVC leading it to sound choppy like it was dropping syllables. I've disabled all of discord's echo cancellation and noise suppression options but it still doesn't sound great. It sounds just fine when recording to Audacity. Is this something that can be fixed or is it just discord being discord?

Discord and Zoom both have a potential solution to this by setting the affinity in the task manager to one core and setting the priority to high.

Preset voices work fine for me, but how come when I take them from the Discord AI Hub they glitch out? Like whenever I speak it takes a second and then either starts repeating what I said at first a bunch of times then cuts out or repeats what I said last then cuts out again. This has been the case for every single profile I've downloaded from disc. Anyone with this problem, or anyone know whats going on? :/

It really sounds well and I already looked into it for a few minutes. I'm under the impression that for deep male voices it is still struggling to get at least a deep female voice. Maybe I'm missing something or need to look more than a few minutes into it, but does anyone tried that out or have some advice? I'm just looking for a normal to deep female voice so do not sound too artifically. If it does matter: I speak German. Sorry for my bad English 😢

There's a slider on there called "tune" if you're changing from a male voice to a female voice put it higher and if you are doing it the other way put it lower until it sounds the way you want it to
