I absolutely adore this anime. Superb combat and pacing. I really like that they show more than they tell. You get a general understanding of how a lot of their abilities work, by them just showing you. I've been watching bleach, and i was getting tired of practically half the episode explaining how their abilities work just for the bad guy to die and never show up again.

At first i thought its gonna be another avatar like power system but the way they use the elements is way more creative without it being complicated like most animes nowadays and also not generic. And that yin yang form was the icing on the cake for this episode to make him my fav fire user character. I find that Chinese animation always excels in their fights. I still don't understand Kirin's(the holy beast father) position in the demon realm if Sanchu, Chensou, and the two sages are at the top. Kirin also has the ability to heal and give great powers so why not just gang up on him and get his scales? But I think they're on different realms.

So the 1st brother hallucinated stabbing the wood girl, he actually beheaded the fat eight brother. He thought he was running away with the holy beast but was actually carrying a chopped of head. So the 1st brother doesn't have the holy beast, team Xuan ( fire MC) also doesn't have the beast, so where did the holy beast go ?
