shouldn't the depreciation be 20000 (10000x2) because the PPE was valued at acquisition which was 01 Jan 2017, and our reporting date is 31 Dec 2018, which means that it has been 2 years since the revaluation?

yes ma thinking too from the date of acquistion is when the revaluation was done and not frm the date of consolidation hence 2yrs...much blessings to him think he made an error....much love from Kenya

No.we should include depreciation for only one year since the statement under examination is for a year..The 2 years depreciation can only affect the consolidated statement of financial position....The Best tutor..cheers from Kenya

I think unless specified we should only be concerned with values for the current year when dealing with P and L account. That accrued depreciation should only reflect in Statement of financial position

I think you made a mistake and forgot a very significant additional info. What happened to the fair value of NCI at GH48,000?
