Dude if you’re in Italy and you go to eat at some Fast Food joint gotta ask why? As for place being closed down - did you not check into Italian culture at all? In Italy the big meal is lunch which takes a few hours then every chills out for a few hours - which is why they’re all closed.

he literally picked the worst time of the day to wander around if what he was after was seeing people and "life". Also, didn't show much of the city at all, nor the Cathedral at its fullest. There are many churches around the historical center that are well worth showing and exploring and some hidden jewels (including the underground excavations). Basically a video showing side streets of the train station block (which is currently in some bad conditions, I do agree) at a time where people are having their lunch break and being home with family. This is a must unfair representation of the city to be fair. Also the fast food joint thing at the start :facepalm:

At the same hotel today. 2/12-23. Hotel ok, spa and wellness open. Nice people. BUT,- Her for work, and do appreciate quietness after, lets say 2100, no way. Music in the hallways of the hotel. Big fireworks explosions in the streets, shaking buildings. Earplugs on!!. Breakfasts 07:00 +, a bit late. Dinner - nothing but some takeaway before 20:00, ordering and dining = past my normal bed time. I will survive, but like you say, not a town i'l recommend as tourist goal. And finely a good advice to the town : Clean up please. I know you has gotten used to see it, but there must be 1000 ton of plastic floating around inside the city signs.... And a lot more outside.

What form of research did you use before you went to a place like Foggia? As with any culture in the world, do some basic research on how things work. Use a translation app on your phone to get a basic understanding of the language and pronunciation rules. I watch American and British tourists in Italy all the time. It's really embarrassing.

I'm sorry. American here, people like Eric Clark are an embarrassment to my culture not all of us are as ignorant and arrogant as this uncultured jerk. I've been to Foggia and it was beautiful. I would love to see what he thinks of American cities that lack any walkability or culture older than say, 50 - 80 years? Foggia has a rich history and many museums. American towns outside the ones you can name is mostly just driving and strip-malls. I would literally do anything to live in a city like Foggia and yes it isn't perfect. But where is? This guy has no class.

My Gma was from Foggia (CORRECTLY pronounced Fuh-Jia), this video is rude to me...not everywhere is scenic & maybe people traveling just want to see REAL places, not just RICH folk land...my opinion. I will definitely still visit, culture & REAL areas of historic lands are still very important to see.

Sir, I say this with all due respect and to, hopefully, encourage you to gain a better understanding of what you’re attempting to report. I encourage you to do a little more research. I’m using your less than favorable take on Foggia, Puglia, Italy. Please learn correct pronunciations of towns. It disrespects that community when you don’t. It is pronounced “Fo-juh”. Not FOGEEE, not Fo-gee-ah… Just “fo-juh”. Second, you say the neighborhood does not look safe after 15 seconds. Why? Because there are people of color in the area??? And your Airbnb… If you did some research, instead of just focusing on a price, you can find out a myriad of facts about where you’re staying, and the customs of the region. “They are taking a “siesta” and o restaurants are open until 8pm”. How ridiculous. It is impossible to not find a bar for a snack in the most remote town. Obviously, I have to unsubscribe to your vlogs. I watch, and recommend to others, hundreds of these because I’m a traveler who enjoys sharing good information with other travelers. I’ll check back in time to see if your approach has improved. I hope you can take this as constructive criticism. Peace.
