Love me some Foghat! They became very popular in my college years and, man, they were playing on every stereo along with The Steve Miller Band, Skynard, Marshall Tucker etc. The ‘70’s and ‘80’s were the greatest years of music with actual talented musicians vs today’s music where most is now electronics!!! Oh, we loved some Wild Cherry and Commodores funk too!

This song is forever linked to my teenage roller-skating years. Every Wednesday night in the mid seventies. Every time they played this song we couldn't wait for the end so that we could skate fast. Of course, a different activity took over later in life. I am going to suggest here and on Facebook the song Wild Cherry by Foghat. The whole song is like the last part of this song. BTW, "Lonesome" Dave Peverett, Tony Stevens and Roger Earl left the band Savoy Brown to form Foghat. You should check out Savoy Brown.

Foghat was born out of one of Britain's first blues rock bands, Savoy Brown with Kim Simmonds. Lead singer/guitarist Dave Peverett and drummer Roger Earl left Savoy Brown and formed Foghat. The slide guitarist is Rod Price. His guitar tone is a key part of Foghat's unique sound.

I guarantee some funk!! Rock funk!! But the thing is Tommy died young and many never got to experience his talent!! Believe me - it is absolutely the best!! Absolutely the best!! But be warned only the connected rockers back in the day got to experience Tommy Bolin cause of his untimely death

You guys slay me ! 70’s -80’s -90’s rock is KING ! Take you rap and do what you want with it. If you ain’t playing or signing you ain’t making music, period ! And yo yo by the by… being from Detroit, I think my music genres and library is most def way deeper than anyone else born anywhere else, and with that being said, I’ll stand with one RAPPER and one alone ! Going by y’all’s hip hop skills and your best rapper, even he says this kid was the shit !!!!! Still is the shit !!! And always be the shit of rap…. Will the real slim shady …. I said will the real slim shady …. Please Stand Up ! Ohhhhhhhhhhhh Noooooooooooo KABOOM ! Eminem is the king of rap! Now let’s go back to when black people where really on the top of their musical game, no it wasn’t and never will be Rappers ! It was the Detroit MoTown Express ! Are you guys really serious music heads ? Or just rappers looking for the reals deals ? I’ll even go back further, but not a strong fan of all white peoples rock n roll roots is the Blues Musicians !!!!! Yes the Blues MUSICIANS ! Key word * Musician* !!! Blues is where all your British Invasion bands came from, Stones, Beatles, Kinks etc … same for you American Southern Rock Bands! In fact Lynyrd Skynyrd is basically coping old blues tunes but stepped up in rhythms! And yes a lot more guitars and ELECTRICITY ⚡️! Man I watch you guys all the time. I truly enjoy seeing your reactions to all the new music you’re experiencing and enjoying ! ☮️ 440 international
